He's a tool for telling the truth?

That "Niang guy" has more heart than Ben ever had

Ben Simmons is nothing more than a compulsive liar and people like you are still falling for it. It's quite comical at this point

He's lying? How did he go from 20-21 to now from an on-court perspective?

Why do you think he's so much worse? How is he lying? It's not something he can lie about.

Niang has no heart, that's the point

Ben lied about the reason he passed up that dunk in game 7 against the Hawks in two interviews

He lied about possibly being exposed to Covid and tried to get out of Game 7 against the Hawks

He lied saying Shaq was hating on him when he was just giving him legit criticism

He did a fellow Philadelphian in Michael Blackson dirty as far as breaking guy code

There are other things that he lied about that I'm not going to get into on the internet

We all know that Ben is scared to go the rim so why hasn't he developed a jumpshot to counter the fact that he doesn't attack the rim now? That is the most logical thing to do to help your team and yourself

He doesn't want to help himself to be a better player because he doesn't care about basketball as I have stated many times before. He loves the lifestyle, gaming, money and women

I bet you think there was nothing wrong with what Ben said in his interview with JJ Redick as well :nonono:

Maybe Niang can take a shot in actual game instead

Today against Boston he had 1 rebound 0 assists 0 points in 13 minutes of action

I wouldn't have a problem with this coming from someone like Embiid or Harden, but the truth is that you also cannot really play Niang against a Celtics or a Bucks, not with Maxey or Harris, so you are kind of in the same boat with him.

I mean the most important decisions in basketball are taken by people who usually haven't even played in the NBA (or anywhere sometimes).
Doesn't mean they don't understand what's going on.

What do you know of Ben Simmons as a Call of Duty teammate though, bro?

Probably. Which is crazy. Dont think i've ever seen a player be this mentally destroyed.

and we thought markelle fultz was bad... honestly, sixers need to fire their sport psychology staff.

I'm not sure it's a 76ers issue or not, but I think this and a few other players in the past really do drive home that having mental health as part of a team's medical staff is really critical and shouldn't be a place teams over look or under allocate money to.

i dont think it's a mental health "issue" rather than psychoanalysis assessment as a part of the scouting process.. it's the thing I will die on a hill for.. teams should know more than fans when it comes to the draft. fans ONLY look at players from an ability perspective. we don't know medical history, we don't know how they did on their psych assessment, we don't know what motivates a player, there's so much that fans don't know that may draw a GM to draft a player over another. ie barnes over suggs for the raptors.. i am not concluding who was the right pick at the 4 for the raptors. even now.. suggs could still end up with a better career than barnes. but i would never say "should've drafted ____ on draft".. there are factors where we don't know. i think mental health is a different issue than getting the yips... yips is inability to perform under pressure... can having yips affect mental health? sure.. when you don't play up to expectations, fans roast you, boo you, you might go to a dark place and then it becomes a mental health issue. dwight howard shot high 70s for free throws with the lakers in practice. but during games it's closer to 50%. i think that's a yips thing over a mental health thing.. and i think sport psychologists should be able to pick out players who have a potential tendency to have yips... of course one would hope it can be trained out and you draft for the things that can't be trained, ie height, wing span, bodytype, etc.. so it should be part of the whole package when completing a scouting profile.

Niang is a pretty respectable 6th man who comes off the bench and gives you a 60% TS% at 9-10PPG. Explain how Simmons sitting on the bench making 30M did more

Just for fun... Georges Niang has never missed a free throw in 35 playoff games.

All 8 FTs he has taken

Players don't even show up at the combines anymore. Teams are limited in what a player will let them learn. That said, just like you can train your body, you can train your mind. People are not static beings and we need mental healthcare as much as we need the physical. Sadly, mental health is overlooked and neglected. Simmons has gone through a lot of crap in his personal life and clearly had underlying issues before all this. I'll even agree with others than he really doesn't seem to like basketball all that much.

It's wild that in 2023, Georges Niang is a more useful NBA player than Ben Simmons.

I get all the conversations about Simmons and the contract and his play, but at this point, it's very obvious that he is broken as an NBA player.
It's like a golfer getting the yipps trying to putt, he's got zero confidence in scoring the ball and that's all psychological. It's not something he can turn on and off, it will take lots of time IF he has any chance to get it right. I can't seeing him getting back at all.
Sometimes a player's greatest challenge is coming to grips with his role on the team

Sarcasm isn't lost on you is it?

He's still a JAG firing shots at another JAG.
