And that self promoting disrespectful tweet that he just posted today about his kid while blasting current nba players is real professional, especially for a guy who is almost 40 years old is pretty great isnt it?

You've accumulated 600 posts here within 3 months of being here, and over half of them are about LeBron (who you clearly hate). You either are doing a Skip Bayless-esque schtick, or you are an adult with a weirdly negative obsession with an NBA player. There's no reason to take what you write seriously when the topic is LeBron James.

1) yea i dont like the guy at all, its a fact

2) no need to take anything you write about the guy seriously either because all you will ever do is ignore the ignorant crap that he post on social media to draw the negative attention in the first place. He can do no wrong in your rose colored glasses view

He has dominated the league so much that parity is expected when a dominant franchise star goes away.

Will miss him bringing in politics though.

25 years from now you will be bragging about how you watched James on a regular basis. People are going to compare a lot of players to him the way some do with Jordan.

the ONLY way it redeems itself is if they start calling the rules on the books so we can see just how players of today are NOT more athletic or skilled than yesteryear. Then the outrageous and inflated scoring would come down, defense come back and the game returns to being a sport instead of a tv show.

When you are the NBA entitlement #1, expect social media to criticize your actions. But the OP is exaggerating. Twitter, Instagram, Facebook etc. collectively spread contrary to the honest truth.

You think Lebron’s politics are offensive? What have Karl Malone, Kobe and even Kyrie shared? Shame. You’re desperately trying to sacrifice LeBron as as a scapegoat. Fact is the National Basketball Players Association (NBPA) is what agree with the NBA. So ask them why benefits are allowed for any player today.

well,,,maybe it's a reflection of the times actually. like i'm not too fond of the negative side of social media and lebron has certainly brought that to the forefront and how he uses it

in fact i think that and player empowerment are his legacy. it is the thing he'll leave behind

Love how sometimes people are allowed to just start blatant bait threads with no consequences.

the thing is. LeBron used his whole player empowerment situations "porperly" and only within contractual freedom. i have no issues with players working their magic in free agency, just like Kyrie and KD did with brooklyn.

he has never forced his way out, he never held a gun to a teams head and said "trade me to this specific team and make sure they keep their good players, so i can win a title." Other players are responsible for the whole forcing a trade situation, thats not on lebron. maybe he planted the seeds in other players' heads. but he himself did it the right way every single time. free agency is allowing a player to have a free choice. always has been and how it should be.

OP is just quoting some hot narratives around here to farm some and1's. This whole thing is ridiculous. LBJ is on the brink of not even making the playoffs. you can make an argument, that he already is kinda irrelevant for the league's competetiveness. OTher than that the league wont be better without him, people are gonna try to follow his footsteps, his sons are probably getting drafted and LeBron will always be on TV and NBA media because the guy has a completely legit GOAT claim, like it or not.
im bout dat action boss

Instead of admitting it was a travel, LeBron insisted it was the refs who were wrong. He then continued to do it, and of course the league isn’t going to continue calling travel on their young cash cow, so the rule was reinterpreted. Soon others were doing it too.

and you don’t like people doing it? What’s your angle here? if everyone’s doing it then who cares, it becomes part of the game.

Yes, I don’t like. I prefer the skills required to dribble by guys a bit more rather than tucking the ball like a running back between the 3 point line and rim. It also causes a drastic difference in understanding of travel from one league to another, which is annoying to watch young people think they are allowed more steps in leagues that don’t allow them, and older people complaining about traveling in the NBA. There was nothing wrong with the original interpretations of the rules.

Man Lebron has had a great career off the court. I don't know of a GOAT-calibre player who has said less stupid sh*t in the media.

To the OP and your likes: enough with the bull. Just say "i hate LeBron and will do everything to make him look bad."

The lengths you losers will go to.

Jordan reportedly called Kwame Brown a "flaming ****" as a 40+ year old executive and owner.

But Lebron being midlly disrespectful on Twitter is just completely un professional and ruining the league

Pathetic. Reads like something a 10 year old would write and not a grown man.

During the Kobe/Duncan era there was one thing that stood out

Loyalty. The 00s was an era filled with franchise players making their teams great.

Kobe was the face of the Lakers, Duncan for the Spurs. LeBron for the Cavs, Melo for the Nuggets, KG with the Wolves, DWade for the Heat, Nash for the Suns, Dirk with the Mavs. The players stuck out with their franchises for a lot longer than today.

I really do wish WB either chose to tough it out with OKC, stayed in Houston, or stayed in Washington. It's been only downhill for WB, who is a franchise player, since then.

Kyrie asks out of Cleveland and it's been bad story after bad story. He's effectively screwed over both franchises he's been a part of and is basically on his last bit of goodwill in Dallas.

The idea that a top 5 player in the league like KD could bounce around so much would've been unheard of years ago.

It's nice to see that the most winning players do seem to be the most loyal though.

Curry has been the most winning player of the last 10 years with 4 championships to his name and a big part of that has been being the franchise guy for the Warriors.

The Bucks won in 2021 and Giannis has been their franchise guy, their loyal guy.

The Raps won in 2019, and while the Kawhi trade was not a piece of loyalty, it did rely heavily on the guys they developed to carry them to the ring.

Say what you want, but outside of the Lakers one bubble win, Loyalty has been the defining piece for what has made teams win over the last decade post the Miami Heat era. The Spurs won in 2014 off a team based on their foundation and since then the championship has almost always gone to the franchise guy that stuck it out and built something rather than the guy that pulled a "LeBron" and took their talents to the next hottest team in the league with the most stacked talent.

Locking this, not because it necessarily breaks rules - you could argue it's baiting- but because it's a really low-quality thread. I'm something of a Lebron hater myself (*Willam Dafoe voice*) so I clicked on this link hoping for some valid criticism. Instead it's just unprompted player hate, blaming him for the league problems without really backing it up. I'm down for a high-effort Lebron media criticism thread, but this ain't it. It's just a poster saying they don't like Lebron.
