UCSB put up a better fight than I thought they would, just ran out of gas, as expected

Pitt off to a great start.

Michigan State has been a disappointment all year. Forget the noise. It's been rough.

Thrilled to see Izzo win another NCAA game. The team just looked... different today. Locked in, I suppose. I've had a few sodas and my vocabulary is suffering. I'm betting he's got 1 more in him this year. Past that, their region is just way too stacked.

I mean, I felt like the BIG10 was just absolutely stacked this year, so I expected to see a few teams under-seeded as they tore each other apart at the end of the year. Maryland and Michigan State both fell in that category and it worked out just fine for them in the First Round.

Go State! They have the coach, the talent, plenty of big game experience, and most importantly, they know how to handle adversity. If they get far enough, it never hurts seeing some top teams fall on Day 1 [Virginia,

Any other interesting developments?

It’s been a meh first round so far. I think the games this evening are all way better than what we saw earlier.

I’m all in on Miami -2.5 against Drake.

You better not have put any money on FDU! You better not have jinxed my 16 seed to knock off the 1 seed in my Duke bracket.

That could happen...but not tonight...but I'm very heavy on 'Due. I think Brandon Newman is the X Factor for how far they can advance. I do like their little white guards also even though everyone hates on them

Their guards are getting eaten up by these quick little FDU guards right now.

This actually might just happen. Purdue guards can’t stay in front of anyone on FDU and Purdue can’t hit a jumper to save their life.

Purdue’s offense is pretty much just Edey getting offensive boards and a put back.

Let’s go FDU!
