Yeah... I dunno bud, I don't see it.

Watch it in .25 speed.

Definitely wraps embiid's legs at the 8-9sec mark.

Some of these are really unbelievable

Absolutely pathetic, almost as pathetic as the 76ers fanboys running to every Embiid thread to defend him no matter what.

Harden and Embiid are a great match. No wonder both struggle in the playoffs when refs don't award them as much for flopping.

A real quote by a play by play announcer about Joel Embiid. For every 6 players he hurts, he’s bound to do something to himself playing like that.

the quote was actually: "Embiid has to be scraped off the floor again, where he has lived all night"

that's worse lol

It was after that incident. It happened in the 3rd quarter.

Here is the play

Are you trying to say Johnson intentionally tripped him up? Not what I'm seeing.

lol, i thought you were trolling but ur serious

Cam thomas locked Embiid's legs? that's wild!
I hope this is just a minor injury, the 76ers can obviously win vs. the Nets and even sweep without him, last game he was probably their 5th best player and a liability for most of the game and guys like Reed are excellent backups

hopefully this doesn't affect the 2nd rd series, we wanna see Embiid losing to the C's fair and square not via injury, it didn't look too serious and he played all game on it afterwards so i'm guessing it's nothing structural

it was dumb for the 76ers to play him in game 4 anyway, the Nets would go hard at him and he can't take that and he might've kicked some1 else in the nuts and get himself suspended

so i'm guessing he isn't injured and this is just a precaution \ rest \ avoiding a meaningless game
first player to be load-managed in the playoffs damn

Seeing him falling all the time makes me wonder, if he won't hurt his hips in the future. Dude is probably +280 lbs but throws himself around, like he weighs half of it.

He isn't just a risk for other players, like Danny Green but could also end up hurting himself while doing it.

I'm a little alarmed at the amount of people seemingly taking joy in this. We can all have our favourites for MVP but any player potentially having to take time off due to injury is a loss for the game. Hopefully Joel only misses game 4 and that's it.

Cam Johnson not Thomas. Watch the video and slow it down to 0.25. You can see him pulling his legs down.

Embiid does this every year, he flops around the court throughout the first round until he inevitably gets hurt

....usually accompanied by tears

yeah srry, I meant Cam Johnson obviously
he does no such thing, Embiid fouls him (uncalled btw) and after he falls they get tangled up a bit
he absoulutely does not "pull his legs down" and even if he did, lying on the floor that has no effect on a guy Embiid's size or rather I should say - it "shouldn't" have any effect but Embiid has serious balance issues so who knows

either way there is nothing there

Yes when Cam Johnson fell and he fell on top with Johnson locking his legs.

do you know about when in the game it happened so i can find it? i totally missed this. I can pretty much tell down to the ligament and how bad it is with what i know about knees at this point.

ohh thats his mcl, he can try to play through it, but hes very vulnerable to a bigger injury. IDK if he should risk it unless the nets force game 7.

This video right here, watch it in 0.25 speed on YouTube if you want to see the leg caught in Cam Johnson's legs.

Yeah think that's why they're taking precaution. They say it's a sprain though and no tear or partial tear.

This is what happens when you flop around like a fish out of water 50 times per game. On one of the falls you get hurt. And thinking Cam Johnson did anything dirty is ludicrous.

Embiid out game 4 with a sprained knee

This is why I laugh so hard when delusional Sixers fans pull out the “if only Embiid wasn’t injured in the 20XX playoff run!” card to cope with their embarrassing failure of a franchise. Being injured is Embiid’s natural state!

Come on guys. Yeah Embiid falls down a lot, yea he gets injuries in the PO, yeah he cried once in the PO. But no he doesn’t injure himself constantly because he flops and cries. Last year Siakam elbowed him in the face, same with Fultz in 2020, this thing was contesting a Cam Johnson layup at the rim, etc.

It’s kinda fun—if you talk about basketball and process what’s happening on the court you can actually learn more about the game, no rule that says you just have to grunt the same insults over and over again.

This is actually awesome news for 76ers fans because now you have your excuse for his poor play and second round loss already built in. He was playing poorly and looking slow out there but now you’ll have a thing to blame it on.
