Was it hard for you not being able to root for the Heat or celebrating those b2b championships in those 4yrs?

I know this is hard concept for grown men who have made a life out of worshipping another grown man bc he can play a game, but I root for a TEAM. Whatever is happening, the Miami Heat are my TEAM and I root for and celebrate my TEAM'S success.

On the contrary, what will you do when LeBron retires? Surely you won't spend the rest of your life on the internet futility defending a retired man who never knew you existed and still won't?

Why does this topic upset you so much? He just asked a simple question, lol.

What a wild thread lol. It's crazy to me how invested people get in an individual athlete.

Weird for you to try to project upset on me, since I'm not the one emotionally invested in an individual player like yall are with LeBron. And I quoted no one until someone quoted me. You and the rest of the stans are upset bc I said that I'm glad he's off my team (a fact) and have quoted me endlessly about it, hoping to get a rise out of me bc your little feelings are hurt by the comment.

Me responding is literally just me responding to yalls emotions about it.

I see. But why are you so upset? Is it cause he beat you in 2020 after what Riley said?

Hopefully you'll get over the fact that I'm glad LeBron is off my team. This seems to be really troubling you and causing you to desperately troll. But its going to be true no matter how much you try use projection to make this about something else.

At least you can get your stan friend to come +1 this post too.

Look at you mashing out paragraph after paragraph for yes or no questions. Love the heated emotions, no pun.

What do you mean by I’ll be alright? I root for the Raps foremost and I’ll find another all time great player I can recognize as the best in the next generation. Jokic seems to fit the mold. I thoroughly love his game as I did with Brons. No need to limit yourself as a basketball fan to just your hometown or fav franchise. There’s levels to stanning but also hating. Hope you’re doing better buddy.

Just admit it! LeBron James is your hero and the only reason you watch the NBA, and you'll be crushed when he's gone! Admit it damnit!!

So a guy gets 66.7% of a FRANCHISES championships as the best player, while only playing in about 13% of their seasons, but we'll call it an "L" on THAT guys legacy??? :rofl2:

Didn't say any of those words in my post but umm...ok. Anyways.

Glad he's gone like I said. Hopefully you stans follow him into retirement. Will be a lot better for basketball when all discourse doesn't revolve around **** on every other basketball player, especially his teammates and the greats that came before him, to prop him up.

I hope that when he retires your posts will be a bit less "butthurt-ish" sounding. That would probably also be better for basketball and maybe the forum

Jumping from team to team in your prime and helping orchestrate trades and FA signings in order to stack the deck in your favor is something no player has ever done before. And it’s always going to take away from his success.

I agree he should have stuck it out with Mo Will and Boobie
Gibson entering his prime instead. *Dan Gilbert comic sans*

EH15 wrote:Lebron won 2 titles in the 9 years since he left MIA. You guys don't think he can win more than 2? You don't think Spo, who's lead a Jimmy Butler team to the finals twice, couldn't top that with a near peak or possibly apex peak Lebron (15-18) and tail end prime Lebron (19-20)? 6 years, 6 opportunities. Lebron by himself takes you to the ECF. You don't think Spo by his side makes a difference? You don't think Riley, who seemingly builds contenders out of thin air no matter the circumstances, crafts a team good enough for Lebron? I'm taking the over. Lebron would've had 3-4 had he simply stuck with the Heat. The path he chose isn't too shabby, but he left a lot on the table. A 2015 Heat Finals win over the Warriors changes the course of history. And vice-versa.

Yh I thought I was going nuts. So Spo/Riley employed a player who is basically the poor man's version with considerable less athleticism and size of Lebron to 2x finals and 3x ECF appearance can't muster up one title with reloaded pieces? People keep bringing up exhausted assets as if Lebron wasn't one of if not the GOAT floor raiser and Heat being excellent at developing trash into formidable players.

You mean those same Cleveland teams built around LeBron which led the entire league in wins during his last 2 years there? And btw they couldn’t get star players because LeBron refused to commit long term

yeah, it would be like KDs rings. hollow. That one ring with Cleveland is worth 5 with the heat.

How??? They built another superteam with Irving, love, lbj?? And even worse that Lebron asked silver to suspend dray which helped them get back in the series… I kno it’s his hometown but let’s not act like cle wasn’t a cop out either

I can’t stand the revisionist history trying to paint coming back to Cleveland as some heroic move on his part. He only went back because they traded the #1 overall pick for a Kevin Love who had just come off of a 26 and 13 season. If the Cavs don’t win the draft lottery then LeBron never comes back. He’s the ultimate opportunist

They couldn't get star players because they were Cleveland and they made some pretty short-sighted cap decisions.

Those teams were.only "good" because of LeBron...

And without LeBron, they're not even a Playoffs Team but certainly a contender if James stay in Miami? That Heat core without LeBron won 37 games and went straight to lottery in 2015 after making the NBA Finals for 4 straight years and winning 2 NBA Titles. People keep calling it a superteam when they're not even a Playoffs team eventhough they replace LeBron with Dragic/Deng/Whiteside. Proof of the carry-job LeBron did in Miami that even with a brilliant coach like Spo, he can't coach those Heat Team to Playoffs berth without LeBron.

That's funny that you leave out the fact that the 2015 team lost Bosh after the ASG break and only brought in Dragic at the deadline. Whiteside only played 45 games and his numbers really only took off once they lost Bosh.

He'd certainly have one less. Even if Riley pulled of a miracle to retool around a 33yo Wade and a 3 incomplete Bosh seasons with him on the books, they still lose out to the Warriors who very well could have 3-peated with out KD instead of losing in 2016. After that, who knows. There are so many variables and with Riley + Miami + LeBron at the forefront, I am sure they would have pivoted to some other star.

Maybe the trade Bosh after his disastrous 2014 Finals performance and pawn off his future blood clot issues to another team if Bron commits? - Who knows really, but he sure as hell wouldn't have another in during that time with Bosh and Wade still on the team.

lol dude I don't care about Lebron, but its a weird take to say you're happy Lebron left and hate him for no reason. The guy who brought two chips to your team. I'm sure Raptor fans are happy they had one year of Kawhi, he got them a chip and left. They aren't bitter like you about it.
