Bro you need to pick a lane, can't be moving goal posts - picking Miami to win and then saying Denver was a fluke
sammo89 wrote:Said it before and I'll say it again: if you beat both the favorites, you are the favorite. Heat in 6

sammo89 wrote:If anyone else had beat the two favorites on their way to the finals, they would be the favorites themselves. The anti-Miami bias is insane at this point

I am actually being very consistent. In both situations, my opinion is that Denver is not that good

What happened then?

The Celtics are a bunch of guys, not a team. They were by far the most talented team, and couldnt pull out a finals appearance. The trades did not make them better. They wont win again

you know - you invest this much into a team to win the chip right now...why stick with mazzula especially with so many quality coaches that have already won a chip available?

it's like brad is not giving his roster a full 100% chance to win it.

Boston was lucky Doc Rivers had his usual game 6 closeout game implosion. Sixers had that game. Ugh.

I don’t know, I think the team that went 16-4 this postseason is better than the team that went 11-9.

Most talented on paper, but they don't have a real alpha. No, they're not the team to beat.

Healthy, they're still nasty, over-usage of the 3 notwithstanding. But they aren't healthy this year, so it doesn't really matter right now. And even when Tatum comes back (hopefully 100% healthy), no Jrue will hurt. They're probably done for now.

Lame? They literally won the title the year after this thread was created. OP was a prophet if anything. I have no idea why one would bump this thinking it's a gotcha. How dumb is that guy?

They need frontcourt help badly. Queta has been a revelation, but ideally, he's your backup 5.

Remind me what year is it? I think it is the 2025/2026 season, but hey, if you think it is cool… have at it. It isn’t like we have a new season to talk about things right… ooh.

so embarrassing that the Celtics won the championship the next year as OP was talking about

so embarrassing that Jokic has yet to make it back to the finals because anyone with a brain saw the Nuggets got worse

but hey maybe this year is their year, except now OKC is the team to beat.
