Eh, if your randomly ‘call’ every rumored scenario, you’ll be right sometimes.

That would actually be a good deal for both sides. Nets need a PG and PHI needs perimeter defense

Acquiring Simmons isn't a "good idea" for any team and especially not Philadelphia again lmao. Simmons will be more or less useless there.

Clippers if they can swing a trade without including PG/Kawhi

A Harden/Kawhi/PG big 3 would have been good in 2015. However in 2023 this will be hilarious levels of geriatric/washed up-ness but it will be entertaining to watch.

Houston can still trade for Harden.

If I am not mistaken, you need to give 28,5M in salary to trade for Harden.

I am assuming they will not burn Jalen Green 9,9M or Jabari Parker 9,3M in this trade.

Kevin Porter Jr 15,6 M+ Tate 6,5M = 22,1M. You only need to include an additional 6,4M. They have
Segun - 3,5
Eason - 3,3
Garuba - 2,6
Christopher - 2,5
Tyty - 2,3
Kenyon Martin -1,9

Seriously, I could see it helping the Clippers and the Sixers. I don't think I like Harden's fit with the Knicks. Maybe Herro/Robinson/2FRPs from the Heat gets them Harden instead of Dame?

even if they were to step outside the "Heat culture" mould - they are not trading 2 FRP's and decent players for a 1 year rental
since he is opting in, a sign and trade is out of the question

bottom line is Harden has most of the levarage here and can dictate to a certain extent where he will go
If the reports are hovering around the obvious Houston plus the Clippers and the Suns - that's probably coming from his camp
signaling those FO's to compete for his services

I suspect he will indeed end up in one of those 3 teams, the most likely of the 3 is obviously the Clippers because he can potentially be a needle mover there if everything breaks right and Ballmer is pot committed

Next up will be Embiid demanding a trade out of Philly. Damn. What a mistake it was to give Doc a shot there.

the rockets have a ton of cap room, why can't they just trade Harden into it?

Also, how long 'til Embiid asks out? This organization is a dumpster fire.

What a weak era of superstars. Guys like KD, Irving and Harden are an absolute joke.

Is that right? Thought you keep Bird rights unless you've been a FA, and they always transfer with you in trades.

Batum/Covington/Powell/Morris/Mann

For

Harris/Harden

Works in the trade machine

Would give Philly

Maxey/Melton
Powell/Korkmaz
Mann/McDaniel/Batum
Morris/Tucker/Covington
Embiid/Reed

With all but Powell and Mann coming off books next year

He’s just a 3 point shooter at this point in his career. He doesn’t offer any play making. His defense is washed.

I can’t imagine how horrible he will be in 2 years.

Philly could've had Haliburton. Morey's love affair with Harden has cost him dearly again.

can the clippers put together the best package? Im hearing a lot of "Marcus Morris and Normal Powell"

Like... why would Phillie want that?

I'm good with him leaving my Sixers but his playmaking is pretty awesome still. He's inconsistent and unreliable now as an iso player but he's a sick passer and manipulates space and defenses very very well. We'll definitely miss that part of his game, brought a lot the last year and change.

He probably gets sent to Houston for some young guys. Nothing crazy since he's a "rental"

Must be Clippers or someone with no cap space

Trading for Harden can preserve the Rocket's cap space, letting them get additional vets.
