Boy, this thread is an absolute cesspool. It's all biased opinion (from both sides) with no real basketball talk.

How is Boston not hot? They've been hot for pushing 90 games this season.

Boston is currently winning by an average margin of 16 lol. Celtics also played way better in the regular season and rank top 5 in playoff experience
Wolves winning by 15 and have the best defense in the league by a large margin, as well as the best offense in the playoffs.
The Celtics have the best net rating by a very very large margin.
You are looking at small samples sizes. Do not overrate the significance.

I’ll take Ant’s and Wolves higher playoff metrics >>> Celtics RS net rating, thanks.

What playoff metrics have Minny higher? No problem with anyone preference for Minny but what metrics are we talking here?
jkvonny wrote:TWolves at the moment, leading the poll.
117 total votes so far.
55% of the votes for TWolves.
45% for the Celtics.
Special_Puppy wrote:How come the Timberwolves offense has been so much better than it was in the regular season (+0.5 in the regular season to +10.1 in the post-season) and is it sustainable?

O rating, for one. MN is first at 123.0.
D rating Wolves are actually not first and neither is Boston.
Net rating Boston is first but not playing the best competition.
By the way, Ant has the highest WS and PER.
Triple M wrote:Regular season metrics are meaningless in this era. But playoff metrics arent a real thing because we are only talking about 5 to 6 games

Vegas odds to win title
Boston +100
Minnesota +310
The difference I imagine is in large part the question of will Minnesota even get to the finals?

The playoffs is all about match ups. Again im ok with anyone bigging up Minny but lets talk more about match ups than metrics over a small sample
