Thank you, bisme37. This is worth mentioning again. Granted, the LeBron/Bronny storyline is a cool narrative, a unique event in NBA history, and I look forward to that historical first father/son assist for the James', the Lakers, the league, and the fans.

BUT -- the draft had so much emphasis in the first round on the player's emotions and the family aspect. Some players brought mom and dad, brothers, etc, up with them. Tears flowed, Monica encouraged it. We all had the feels, rooting for our new guys. It was all a little bit saccharine, but hey, it's a human interest story.

Then in the second round it was ALL Bronny, all the time. Yeah, we get it, ESPN, stop slobbering and clobbering us with it.

All that talk about the importance of Lebron's family, but if you were the parents of Anton Watson or Kevin McCullar (#54 and #56 respectively), the biggest day in your son's life was a footnote to **** doritos and sugar-water junk food commercials, basically.

Yeah, the ratings tho. People don't care about 2nd round so much -- including the draft "experts" apparently.

Old man yelling at clouds here. I hope those overlooked players are just even more motivated to succeed now.

Bronny? He's already a famous multi-millionaire heir in the James estate, set for life. Unlike the other guys, he'll have the spotlight blazing on him more than he'll probably like, so best to him as well.
