If you are arguing the basketball GOAT yeah the accomplishments of NCAA count too. If it's the NBA GOAT then obviously not.
If that's the case I believe Kareem rises even more, as his college career was the most impressive.
This is such a soft counter.
Lebron was a much better basktball player than Jordan at the age ncaa accomplishments were being achieved mirroring what he was doing at college at a much higher level. That should be factored in...as a negative point of comparison for Jordan
What in the world are you talking about lol? The poster said Kareem’s accomplishments while playing in college should mean something when talking greatest player ever and you somehow make this about James in comparison to Jordan….did you read what he wrote? He was correct too. Kareem is by far the most accomplished college player ever and gets the shaft somehow in these goat conversations.
The original post compared Lebron to Jordan. Try reading.
The reply is soft because it just accepts the idea that Jordan being worse than Lebron at basketball during the ages of 19-21 is actually a positive for Jordan and runs off in another direction rather than calling the OP out for trying to give Jordan Lebron's "credit".
