Is it? Payne, Lowry, Oubre, and Batum were the only Philly role players that left a positive impression IMO...and the oldies were definitely more up & down.

I don't want to see Payne out there against starting/closing lineups often at all, but I liked that pick up for our bench.

I think we need to pump the brakes on Reed Sheppard. There's gonna be an adjustment period, but he's gonna have to learn to pick his spots and learn how to play the point. When FVV is out, Houston's offense looks like a clogged toilet.

It's going to take some time either way, but yeah, this isn't the kind of team that was going to respond quietly after an opening debacle like that.

They have a few guys like Schroder, Cam Johnson and Dorian Finney-Smith that maybe some good teams might want. The fact that all the teams are at the aprons or over the cap makes in-season trades difficult though.

Yeah that’s not a plan lol.

Well, in 1.5 games thus far, he's putting no pressure on the rim with the dribble. Last season before the hamstring, he was. I hope he can get back to that place because if he can't, his contract might eventually become a problem to long-term roster building.

Taylor Jenkins is a top 5 coach. Can't nobody tell me different. Just need the Grizz to stay healthy.

Does it? Sarr at least looks like he could grow into an interesting piece and Coulibaly could be something too.

If we're giving Brooklyn credit for guys they might be able to trade for something if not for the cap/apron, then the wiz should get credit for Kuzma, Kispert, and maybe Val/Poole.

It's year one of their rebuild. Some of the vets will be moved eventually, then they'll continue to try and develop Claxton, Clowney, Cam (Thomas), Sharpe along with their fringe guys Zhaire Williams, Whitehead, Wilson...

Through 1.75 games they've been playing gritty and physical, I think that's ultimately who they want to be.

They just don't have star talent.

Good thing for the nets they have their pick back or it would been painful once again....
