Currently for the recognizable brands, I think its the Zion 3s. I think they look like some janky running shoes to be honest.

I use to be an avid (borderline obsessed) Jordan head/sneaker head til about 06-07. Just way too many funky colourways comin out that it just felt like cash grabs, and even then I was still copping them just because. I took a step back and looked at my collection and asked myself, wtf was I doing. Half of my sneakers i havent even worn yet! And I was never the type to buy and resell down the road. I bought to wear. After that moment I decided I needed to stop. I sold all the ones I really didnt give a **** about to friends at retail. I even sold retail to a homie the og bred 1's that I only rocked once indoors - before i sold it i checked how much it was resell on StockX and it was going for at least $2500. Told my homie Im only selling it to him because they were his grails but if I ever found out he sold them Id whoop his ass and collect the amount he sold it for lol
I havent bought jays in a while unless its an og colourway that I already dont own. I still cop a pair of sneakers every now and again, but now mostly casual sneakers (air max's, stabs, boosts, etc) and if it's at a good price (mostly when I make my annual trip to Cali - they got cortez colourways there that they dont have in Toronto).

Yep. Le Coq Sportif is a French brand.

Circa 2010 and they're still in pretty good condition, Converse did a great job with this model.

I teach at a private high school where most of the kids come from a lot of money. One of my students informed me today that his parents got him Red October shoes for Christmas. I'm a little out of the loop so I had to look them up and holy hell, I can't imagine spending that much on sneakers. Just insane

I had to look those up, too. Jesus. Those cost more than my loan debt right now.

I fell in love with Airmax 95s as a kid and have been buying them since. New colorway every year. Love em.

Those are insanely... hideous and overpriced. I will never understand the appeal of shoes from Kanye West. They're all just nasty.

I watched an episode of that complex on YouTube with Stephen a smith and he suggests that maybe if all the players start wearing mids and/or highs than that may help prevent some injuries. Do you agree and why do mids get so much hate?

One Take 5, Hoka and white AF1 are the ones I wear the most.

As a kid in high school, I bought a pair of And1s that served me quite well for a few years. Only years later I realized that Ben Wallace wore those.

These PG3s I have are probably the last basketball shoes I really liked and they were released like 6 years ago. Nowadays everything that comes out is pretty much atrocious.
