2) Lakers: Global Powerhouse: Despite the broader issues, the Lakers remain the most popular team globally. Their appeal is undeniable.

3) LeBron's Approaching End: The reality is that LeBron James' career is nearing its end. When he retires, it's likely the ratings will take another hit.

4) Doncic's Rising Popularity: Luka Doncic has emerged as one of the most popularizing young superstars in the NBA, drawing a lot of attention worldwide.

5) Mavericks' Bizarre Strategy: The Mavericks are looking to trade Doncic. What's even more perplexing is that they don't seem to be actively seeking offers from other teams. They directly contact the Lakers to trade a generational talent for a 32 years old player. Not even another young star or several first round picks.

6) Media will try to convince you the move is real and legit: They will be selling the narrative that AD is the guy that the Mavs needed. Ignoring that they already build a great team around Luka and with Luka they would have the chance to win rings for the next 5–10 years.

7) Lakers' Unbelievable Acquisition: Then, in what seems like the most illogical trade imaginable, the Lakers somehow acquire Luka Doncic. It defies all sense, yet it has happened.

8) Lakers Secured for the Future: Suddenly, the Lakers are poised for mid-long-term success, setting up an interesting dynamic for the foreseeable future.

9) NBA is Revitalized: And just like that, the NBA becomes the talk of the town again. People talking about NBA now, and everyone will be tuning in to watch Doncic in a Lakers jersey.

Congrats to the NBA for the move. Sorry to all the Mavs fans, and sorry to Luka for being used as a pawn. And sorry to all of us fans, as business has overtaken the sport itself.

I don't think this is anything close to the Bucks trading a young before his prime Kareem trade BTW

Luke let's be honest has a maximum of 5 years left in his prime before it starts going downhill fast due to his lifestyle and lack of professionalism.

History will probably vindicate Nico in all honesty

Mavs very well might win with Flagg before Lakers win with Luka, but since getting Flagg technically had nothing to do with the trade (since some people will say its not rigged) it shouldn't really vindicate Nico if they do.

Its like if I sold a $600,000 piece of art for $1 but as I was walking down the street later that day, I found a $1,000,000 dollar bill! so it was the right financial decision to sell my the art for $1.

He just much better - one has an MVP, and potentially a FMVP and a ring and other got traded because his body breaking down and he doesn’t play defense.,. Luka gonna have to prove it or it’s just you love Luka but he has to prove he on the level of an actual mvp

Okay? Because he plays for a loaded team. That doesn't make him the much better player.
Jokic could have easily won MVP again.. so there is that.

Achievement wise yes but pure skill? Hell no.

He didn’t win the mvp because his team is much better- this team just lost to Dallas last year… he got the mvp cause he has improved and he was top 3 in mvp 3 years in a row- he has beaten Luka in the mvp race 3 years in a row…

Cope hard man- Luka not on SGAs level- sga is just better. If Luka wants to catch sga, Luka gotta stop mailing in the offseason

Panthers beat the Oilers 5-1 in game 6 to win the Stanley Cup. In the comments for the YouTube highlights, someone asks if the Oilers even knew they had a game.

Another person responded that Gary Bettman (commissioner) was never going to allow them to win anyways.

Another person asks for clarity, and the person says because the commissioner knows it would be disastrous for US owners, investors, advertisers and fans if a Canadian team won, and it's all about the money.
