I dont understand that. Why doesn't it feel right without Luka? You guys are up 20 against a contender it should feel great.

You are missing 3 pieces as well.

This is Luka's team even without him. I am happy with being up but it just feels different. Losing to Boston in the Finals, you would want Luka there for the rematch.

Also, we are down 4 people if you include Mavericks future HOFer Dwight Powell. Please put some respect on his name.

Yeah alright so 4 real key pices including an all-nba player who averages 26/12/4 with two blocks.

You guys are one playmaker away from being real contenders.

Yes ! :D

Seriously full credit to Kidd, Kyrie and esp Klay and the rest of the Mavs unheralded and bench players.

They have been fantastic and esp fanatical in their defence and half court presses, causing us to fumble the ball and turn the ball over unusually high

I am confident we will bounce back and wax the Knickers at MSG (we have one of the best records in the league in back to back games)

Anyhow, annoyance at the Smelltics performance aside, I am happy for all the long term Mavs fans, who have had a very **** week I imagine.

Don't mind Dallas or their fans, was so happy when Dirk won his chip against The Heatles !

As I say, beating the Knicks now is a non-negotiable for me, happy to put this game to bed.

Im so **** happy Maximus is delivering. Dude is an absolute Gem. He's so much more than a 3&D player.

21 years old i feel the sky is the limit for him.

One of the most underrated players we had. Well not really anymore everyone knew how great he was in his role.

Now the rest of the NBA gets to see as well.

I blame Pelinka that he didn’t talk Nico into taking Bronny instead of Max Christie

I was making a joke about Dwight Powell that clearly you didn't get lol. We miss Luka that's all. Mavericks didn't want an Anthony Davis with PJ on the team. We were fine with PJ.

The league got their wish and it makes sense. Because even as I watch this game, I am getting excited to see how the rest of the season rounds out for the Mavericks. I will also now be forced to now watch the Lakers to watch our boy Luka dominate.

Was amused to hear some media commentators like Bill Simmons say the Mavs should have asked for Knecht instead of Mad Max C, but in a small sample size so far, the Mavs have been justified (with that component of the trade)

Credit to you Lakers fans as well, you guys sure knew what a good talent Christie is.

If AD comes back firing and healthy for the Mavs, the Luka trade wasn't as lopsided for the Lakers as many think
