His job is to practice dunks all year. Not a representative of the NBA

Absolutely not... having said that the man is a goddamn freak of nature in terms of dunking and if you DID happen to watch him (which I did) you did see some ridiculously special dunks.

Unfortunately i think that's making a lot of posters' points for them. The players are a huge part of the dunk contest. Mac is a nobody. He could literally be the greatest dunker on Earth, but that's a different vibe. Maybe it would be fun to see the NBA dunk contest winner compete against the extreme dunk specialists. I just don't really care about players who can't ball.
