A quarter of his points come from FT, 8 per game. What do you expect people to say?
Since 2000 of all the players that have averaged 32 or more ppg....SGA averages the 2nd LEAST amount of free throws.

What do i expect? I expect people to at least not lie.

How many times do you count Harden in there and NBA made an effort to cut that **** out.

And what do you mean lying those numbers are fact.

What the heck was that move he pulled on Dean Wade? Looked pretty cheap.

Thunder only got SGA though, while Lakers got Bron and Luka. I think they figure out and break down Thunder’s defense in 6 or 7. Plus they have Reaves most likely off the bench, Thunder doesn’t have that kind of backup who can be first option in many teams in Reaves.

Lakers D will key in on SGA they have DFS/Vando/Lebron to swarm him and make Thunder role players beat them, much easier game plan than Thunder figuring out two all timers in Lebron and Luka.

Lakers in 6 or 7.

It will be very funny to see the takes on OKC around here once the playoffs actually start.

I know the team has to prove it, but brushing aside the fact that they are 44-6 when Hartenstein plays(good for 72 wins), has a historic defense, and one of the best Net Ratings of all time(currently ranked 2nd behind only the 72 win Bulls) and just trying to come up with reasons they'll lose is just being contrarian for the sake of it.

Re: Lakers, I think they'll be a very formidable team next season if LeBron can still keep it up, as they'll round out their roster I imagine with a solid big and another wing.

But a 7 game series against the Thunder would be very gruesome for them. All the roleplayers of Lakers would have to play the games of their lives to make that series competitive. You have to outshoot this Thunder team consistently to have a chance, and the Lakers just don't have enough offense to keep up.

The only teams that genuinely give me fits are Nuggets and Wolves in the west, cause they both actually have good rosters overall but just not consistent enough in the regular season. If they can string together a few hot nights, they'd actually cause trouble for this Thunder team.

Lakers? Just can't see it. Not this season.

Lying about those numbers being particularly high. They're not.

The numbers i provided are facts too. Hes clearly not an outlier. The opposite in fact. He benefits from the whistle less than almost anyone else thats averaged that amount since 2000. Its right there.

Something about them is still making me reluctant to consider them as legit contenders, maybe lack of seasoned playoff experience from their young Stars.

Still it's good to see H-Town firmly back in the playoffs again, very good and successful rebuild post Harden era

If we get Houston against Minnesota or Golden State in round 1, I think a lot of people pick against Houston.

I would definitely pick the Clippers and or Lakers in a series against The Rockets.

Every fanbase in the playoff picture in the west are basically praying that they face Houston or Memphis. And the more I read those comments, the more I can't wait to face those teams. Give me the Lakers. Give me the Warriors (those 2 fanbases in particular have been very loud in their disrespect lol). I can't wait to prove them wrong and send their teams home in round 1.

It’s true though, I mean Bron already beat the Grizzlies 2 years ago, and that was without Luka and Reaves. Grizzlies is just too weak offensively, they’re just gonna swarm Morant and game over. And don’t get me started with Rockets. I don’t even know why they’re in the playoffs. I think they’re just getting by through extra effort. But when the playoffs come and all the old veteran teams (Lakers, Warriors, Clippers, Nuggets who are all just coasting) turn it on and match their effort they’re just gonna get blown out the water. We’ve seen it time and again.

it's a waste of time. these people have been conditioned by a social media engagement campaign to support this shai narrative and will go to any lengths in order to dismiss contrary evidence. there's no objective evidence at all to support the narrative, of course.

We will see. It's not like I don't get why teams prefer us or Memphis, we're young and inexperienced, our core haven't played a single minute of playoff basketball yet, but with the disrespect comes a chip on our shoulders. I feel pretty confident we can knock one of these teams you mention out before we get eliminated in the second round.

Regarding the bold, you think we're 2nd in the west after 70+ games just because of extra effort?

I think so, you said it yourself there’s a chip on their shoulder. Everyone’s hungry and desperate to prove themselves plus shiny young legs. But when you get to the playoffs everyone is hungry too. Lebron, Luka, Kawhi, Harden, Curry, Draymond, Butler, Jokic, Murray they’re all just coasting now. But come playoff time, they’re gonna eat everyone alive, especially inexperienced teams like Rockets, we’ve seen it time and again.

I love Sengun though, but I don’t see the fit yet with Green, they have to decide who their go to option will be to cater to that player’s strengths.
And Sengun will have a hard time vs Bron, he will lock him up.

Because they have the second-best record in the 'bloodbath' Western Conference?

Hope this helps.

I'm saying there's a chip on the shoulders because of the disrespect going into the playoffs.

You don't think the Lakers have weaknesses Rockets could exploit? You don't think the Rockets will correctly identity Luka and Reaves as weaknesses on defence and relentlessly hunt and attack them? Their big is Jaxson Hayes. How would he handle Sengun? And how would the Lakers handle the double big line up we can put out there with Sengun and Adams?

That's a lot of legit questions a Lakers-Rockets series would give us. Of course if Luka and Bron go off, nobody is stopping them, but it's never as black and white as you're making it seem. So as I said, I see why fans of other teams prefer to face us, but I say bring it on. I think we can beat some of these teams.
