I am watching MIL-IND Game 2, and it is obviously because they are jealous of how soft his hair looks. It's hard to blame them.

For those of you who have played ball, he is exactly the type of guy, that just crawls up under your skin, until you start hunting an appropriate time for a hard foul. If you know, you know. He strikes me as that guy.

He’s got a very punchable face I’ll give him that

So it means 13 votes for Hali
9 for Gobert
8 for Trae
5 for Butler....

This is supposed to represent the entire League...

Very useful poll by TheAthletic

Agree with the majority here. NBA players just don't understand basketball the way you guys do.

So every NBA player voted?

I don't get how or why this happened.

90 votes cast, so only about a fifth of the league was polled

I could see this as a most disliked vote or poll. But i almost think Trae might be underrated at this point. People really don't even put him near the top of PG lists anymore at times lol.

It's a strange list, because Hali isn't that highly rated. Casual fans barely know him, he's not in advertisements, and he only once made an All NBA squad, in the 3rd team. So, I am not sure how he can be "overrated" unless the claim is that he's not good at all. Which doesn't seem credible.

I mean, if I was finals MVP Jalen Brown and saw Halli on the Olympics squad over me I'd definitely vote him as most overrated. Just for example.
Rest in peace Kobe & Gianna

That's a very healthy sample size, actually.

We get political polls based on a much smaller % of population taken to be a good sign of public opinion. Just for example.

As someone who makes a living off of statistics I'll tell you this. Political polls are based on usually around a thousand people or so which is actually a much better sample size than this even if the percentage of the population is way smaller. Starting at about a sample size of 30 you'll have roughly a 95% chance of the results roughly matching the population depending on the amount of parameters you have though still the bigger the sample size the better and the more confident you can be the sample is representative of the population, the problem with political polls is finding a truly representative sample thanks to archaic sampling methods. That could also be a problem here because we don't know how these players were sampled, the distribution of which teams were sampled could matter here

As an example, did they balance foreign players with American born? We don't know and I think that matters,

Haliburton has become underrated at this point. He's not a superstar, but overrated? Definitely not.

This is odd to me, but I don't watch TH very much.

What I will say is he has a good group of players around him to really play off his strengths.

I mean, you said 30 and they used 90 which also happens to be one fifth of the league. I never heard of political polls that managed to get to 1/5 of the entire electorate. As a professional maybe you know better than I do though.

If i were Haliburton, i’d tap everything in my power (pay off Shams to do the research?) to get the list of voters.

Take it “personal” against those 90 people.
