Interesting…that second video seems to show Steven Adams as the main culprit who pushed Amen into Butler.

How is this a controversy? It's so clearly an accident. Are we going to blame Jimmy for grabbing the rebound? Amen for going after a missed shot? Draymond for boxing out? Adams for trying to get out of Podz hold to go for the rebound? Podz for holding Adams and keeping himself between the Adams and the basket? Everyone did what they were supposed to do there. It's just unfortunate.

People always want to find someone to blame.

Everyone here had a legit basketball play/intention.

Thompson was squished between 2 bigs and tripped, fell forward and undercut Butler.

The end.

Basketball play.

We can describe how it happened, but nobody did anything inappropriate.

Hope Butler shake it off soon.

I blame Kerr for playing Green/Butler against 7 footers. It was a matter of time when these Warriors front court "giants" would be injured.

What a bunch of BS. Draymond is holding Amen back ILLEGALLY and for "some reason" has his ankle way out of position in front of a moving Amen hoping to trip him. That's all dirty.

Once Amen is moving, Draymond removes his arm wanting Amen to trip over his foot, which obviously sends a tripping Amen forward into Butler.

Look at Draymond's face when it happens, even he knows he f*cked up.

This was a basketball play. Thompson tried to follow his missed shot but Adam’s and Green are playoff experienced rebounders so he had no chance. His feet got caught in between Adam’s and Green and Butler rebounded like it was an uncontested rebound considering he wasn’t boxed out

Nobody is at fault here. Just a bunch of innocuous movements that lined up to cause an unfortunate incident.

Adams runs into Amen which pushes him a bit, then Amen runs into Draymond's extended leg as he's trying to go for an offensive rebounds, Amen loses footing and crashes into Jimmy's legs as he's in the air to get the defensive rebound. None of the movements are faulty.

Watched a few times and it looked like Adam huge body pushed Amen forwards. Amen was already off balanced and pushed forward even before Butler was off the ground.

I think they were fighting for position and either Draymond elbowed Amen or pulled the chair or just happened to move. Amen lost his balance and fell forward.

Ofc?
Dray shoves Amen into the space under Butler. It's clearly on Green who has made his career from dirty plays and "guarding" illegally i.e commiting uncalled fouls off the ball

Amen gets shoved slightly by Adams, then he gets tripped up by Draymond's leg and he loses balance.

Really unfortunate series of events. Hope Butler is okay and hope he can return this series.

It’s a bang bang play. No one to ‘blame’ these things happen.

But there’s some real mental gymnastics going on here to pin this on Draymond.

Yep, it was Green, pushed Thompson in the back...
Good assessment:

It was Steven Adams and Thompson. Not intentional by Thompson by any means, but damn that look like it hurt.

Yeah it’s Green being his usual reckless self.
