The NBA actually went full WWE here and made it so obvious that it's rigged, I'm fairly shocked that they did this so openly.

There was clearly some kind of deal made where the Mavs surrender Luka for literal peanuts to the Lakers in exchange for Cooper Flagg. I mean, if anyone was still on the fence about this stuff this should solidify it for you. If you still don't believe it's rigged after this you will never believe it.

Just as in the previous instances, there is no hard proof of rigging, but there is also absolutely no reason to believe that there is no rigging. This was probably the only outcome that would imply a real chance of rigging after the most shocking trade I witnessed, and here we are.

I think sometimes people don't realize how flattened lottery odds have become in recent years to not incentivize tanking

I get that it feels rigged with 4 teams jumping, but it’s not possible to rig. There’s no benefit in it.

Yeah, I think the NBA lost more than they won tonight. I know they want to punish tanking but can't believe they want teams like Washington, Char, and Utah to remain in their current positions and for teams like Dallas and SA to continue to get richer.

NBA doesn't have much incentive to rig...its already a huge billion dollar business and already secured big contract for next 10 years. Its not some startup trying to sruvive. If anything, you'd think Silver not want Mavs get 1 pick just so that ppl wouldn't think it is rigged...also from what I understand, the process is run by E&Y...I doubt a reputed firm like E&Y would wanna risk its reputation by rigging stuff like this

How does every team drop in the top 11 drop between 1-4 spots and both Dallas and San Antonio jump 10 and 6 spots respectively? I swear if Giannis goes to San Antonio I am not watching it this year

Absolutely, this is a sympathy pick for the Mavs. I bet they told Nico and the Mavs if you trade Luka we'll give you Flagg, I'll bet alot of money on that. Not only that, they reward teams who clearly tanked, Sixers and Spurs ! Sixers did an all time tank job this season it's disgusting and they literally got rewarded for it. The Nets should of definitely got a top 3 pick, for all they've been thru we deserve it but the NBA wants to make it harder on us for whatever weird reason. This is disgusting and ridiculous, we should boycott this bs 4real. I would much rather the Wiz, Charlotte or another team get in the top 3 except for these 3 teams. By giving the Mavericks Cooper Flagg in exchange for revitalizing the Lakers who were on their death bed. This is OBVIOUS.
