From a purely basketball standpoint I agree with this line of thinking.
The problem is though, Ja is a superstar in terms of popularity in Memphis. Man is Memphis.
I always saw him in the vein of someone like Westbrook. Polarizing as a player but so easy to cheer for when he's on your team.
You can't trade a player like that when he's 25.
