As was already pointed out earlier in the thread by someone that wasn't just trolling like crazy here in this thread, he would probably be doing the Marc Gasol thing, if he did go back to Europe.
Marc Gasol went back to his old club, Girona, and he played in the Spanish 2nd division.
Another example would be Antonis Fotsis. He retired from the EuroLeague, and then went back to his old club, Ilysiakos, where he played in Greece's 3rd and 4th divisions.
In the scenarios being wildly trolled about in this thread, once Giannis was physically diminished enough and declined enough to retire from the NBA, he would much more likely be doing something like the Marc Gasol / Antonis Fotsis thing.
Maybe he would go back to either one of his old Greek clubs, Filathlitikos or Triton, and play in the Greek lower divisions.
The extreme trolling in this thread, about Giannis being retired from the NBA, because he was no longer at that level as a player, and then becoming the peak 1960s version of Wilt Chamberlain in the EuroLeague, isn't just delusional, it's also a truly pathetic display of Ugly American syndrome.
Giannis would probably be more than happy to go the Marc Gasol / Antonis Fotsis route ro end things.
And to further illustrate the ludicrous level of trolling that is happening in this thread, there were posters in these forums that claimed that Marc Gasol was going to be the best player in EuroLeague history, when he went back to Europe to play.
While on the actual planet Earth, he was playing in Spain's 2nd division.
