Not really. Nemby is the one running point normally and when he's out, it mostly has been Taelon Peter that brings the ball up. Of course, Peter isn't an actual PG so he's not really running any plays, he's just bringing the ball up. When that happens, Mathurin and Pascal are the ones that mostly run the plays so, in that sense, kinda.

Pascal's good at drive and dish, but he needs someone to set him up. He's a good passer when space is created. He was a soccer player so he understands how lanes open up with movement and looks for a scoring pass.

Except for the fact that he pushes off more often than not. Always has. Good for him for getting away with it. Disgusting to watch nonetheless.

He "gets away with it" because he is pretty good at keeping the off arm connected to his body and only releasing away from the defender or when the defender is out of position. I do understand that thats not as satisfying of an answer as the conspiracy that officials are rigging it for him. It is what it is.

The Pacers had some of the best point guard depth in the NBA. Now, all of them are hurt.

Possibly. Sore shoulder is what the reporter said.

Mathurin needs to focus on attacking the basket. That is where he is at his best.

Love the heart the Pacers are showing. If they play like this all season, they will be a playoff team in the East.
