Off topic but I still cannot comprehend how a team is starting Derozan, Lavine and Westbrook in 2025 and expecting to win games :o

Opposing team played a late game on the west coast last night and had to fly in at like 4am, the Kentucky Wildcats would be favored too.

4-0 feels really good! And after that really strong finish last season, the team has a heck of a run cooking. It's a young team that seem to enjoy playing with each other. I'm a certified Vucevic complainer, and he's hustling his old ass off!

Buzelis looks like the real deal. Giddey still needs to be mind-controlled by someone else on defense, or at least adapt to Donovan's attempts at hiding him. But he's playing winning basketball on offense. I'm not sure what "Back" means in this thread, but right now they're an entertaining young team, which is all I can hope for this season.

Another Bulls game that would've been basically a tie if their opponents made an average number of 3 pointers.

Bulls are a good team.
Young, but good.
Matas Buzelis is exactly what the team needed. Waiting for the 3 and 4 positions to evolve took time but the team is on the right path.

I always thought Donovan was a good NBA coach. The problem has always been ownership and the front office. The team has a roster of competent NBA players. It's also amazing how guys look when the ball is shared. All of a sudden, scrubs start hustling harder because they may receive easy buckets. Isaac Okoro is still a scrub though, but him being a bust in Cleveland, doesn't really matter to Chicago if he can give decent defensive minutes.

So the Bulls defended the three well then? Cool.

This whole if X did Y then Z would've happened is stupid.

The east is so bad that the bulls are 4-0. Someone has to win these games by default.

I haven't seen a second of bulls basketball but these kind of stylistic changes by a team over an off-season tend to be more sustainable than just random hot starts. Feels like with decent health the bulls are going to be a decent amount better than people thought.

At some point, the amount becomes significant and not only noise or luck. Bulls give most fg attempts at basket in NBA, they running teams and opponents away from 3 point line. Sometimes u can see bulls player pre rotating where he expects player to drift for a open 3, this opens easy drives and paint shors- some teams going to exploit it heavily, Wemby might go for 50 against bulls, but
On a regular NBA night or teams playing back to back, 3 in 4 won't take advantage, so overall numbers will look like lucky breaks for bulls.

We as bulls fans will gladly have our team win all of those "free" or "default" wins

Just think they were one coin toss away from getting Cooper Flagg too.

As an Aussie, I am rapt to see Giddey is finally figuring it out under Donovans system and has earned his bag.

Matas B looking legit. And they have plenty of options/assets to flip/improve the roster down the track (aka Coby White) if they need to.

Its still very early days though, and they have a tough schedule coming up, but honestly it's good to see a big market teams like Chicago hopefully being decent again after years of mid tier mediocrity/going nowhere.

Looks like you were annoyed that he did something well . Forgot to add he only had 1 turnover to go along with those 17 assists. But two of our starters only scored 4 points total between them and we only lost by 5 points, not that bad for an easy to beat team.

I cheer for the Bulls and want them to be good, but nothing about their roster screams good to me. Vooch has got a good start, but hes Vooch, am I counting on him, or Buzelis, Okoro, Williams, Huertel to be a good NBA team? I am not.

Giddey, Buzelis and White are a pretty good start in building a foundation.
