The Rockets are better without T-Mac... Just kidding... Kind of. The Rockets still did a terrible job of getting Yao the ball this game though yeah Yao still ended up with 34 but they made his life a lot harder than it had to be.

I just caught some of the Lakers-Hornets game..what the **** happened with Paul and Fisher? I saw that Fisher elbowed him, but Paul got caught for the foul..and then Fisher got in his face, and the refs did nothing..what a "class act"..

No doubt. Jersey popping and fan taunting would have been more appropriate.

Paul and Fisher were going back and forth like that all game. Paul gave as good as he got.

Anyway, who wants to jump on the Kobe for MVP bandwagon?
Pierce played pretty solid D tonight (though not at the level he's played at all year), just not much you can do when J-Rich is in the zone that he was in tonight. He was hitting shots he (and anyone else in the league...) has no right taking, let alone making.

J-Rich hit similar shots vs. Ray in Charlotte, too. For some reason, the Bobcats have played the Celtics tougher than anyone team all year and J-Rich has played like Kobe vs. them.

I don't find a problem with Jersey popping. Even fan taunting is alright if they've been heckling you all night. However the difference is that James Posey is a 6th man on most NBA teams and a VERY good role player. Jeff MiGinnis would be lucky to be waterboy for the Knicks.
My Starting 5:

PG: Allen Iverson
SG: Paul Pierce
SF: Kevin Durant
PF: Kevin Garnett
C: Patrick Ewing

Thanks :=D

But seriously McInnis probably should have jumped up on the scorers tabled and tried to imitate the Celtics announcers that would have been HILLARIOUS. The Celtics announcers are EASILY the worst announcers in the league... Then again if McInnis did that the Celtics would have probably sent their enforcers, Pollard and Scalabrine, to rough him up.

edit: I don't like McCancer either but you do know he'd be the Celtics backup point guard VERY EASILY right? He can actually dribble the ball unlike E-House, who is a good role player in his own right, but should NEVER be tasked with bringing the ball up the court for a prolonged period of time.

They've been going back and forth all game. Paul caught fish with two elbows that I seen. the second on bloodying fish's mouth. fish got called for a foul on that play.

Simply a fantastic win for Charlotte over Boston - really impressive! I love every bit of it.

J-Rich and Nazr were excellent, their value and ability in addition to the team really showed there. Got effective support from some other players, also. Richardson has been balling lately, too. Really been getting into his form, and what was expected when the deal was done for him.

Detroit's center help is in Charlotte now. I know about the contract, though I think it's fine for Nazr, nice complementary center.

Tommy Suckson (as dubbed by NetsForce) was just an idiot with his complaints on a number of calls. He got quiet on one or two of them when the replay was shown - inside, he knew he was wrong, but still had to deny that it wasn't right. Just admit you're wrong, and don't go overboard with your homer-personality.

No Ray Allen and Glen Davis obviously helped out, but still, Boston in general has a superior team. Just not tonight. :)

It's actually EASILY the best in the league. Tommy Heinsohn's job isn't to call the game for the fans on NBA league pass and not come off as a homer to the fans of other teams on realgm.com. He's calling the game locally for CELTICS FANS and he's far more entertaining than every other announcer I've heard on league pass.

Big win for the Lakers against a team that many think are better than them.

There is no difference. Poor sportsmanship is poor sportsmanship.

Well, to the objective fan anyway.

Do you not get disgusted by the extreme homerism...i mean literally every call and foul he spins it off to favor the celts...and im not being sarcastic...he thinks every call should favor the celts

Lakers win, Lakers win!

I'm really starting to think that Kobe should be the MVP this year, I know that the media has hyped up KG so much that they'll basically hand him the award but look at what Kobe is doing with a lesser talented cast. He's also done a nice job this season of blending his game in with his teammates'...

On a side note, listen to the Nets announcers if you want to hear real announcers. Mark Jackson, Marv Albert, Ian Eagle, Kelly Tripucka, that is unbiased announcing at it's BEST. These guys tell it like it is, if the other team does something well they're not afraid to admit it, if they get a call wrong they're man enough to admit to that as well, please Celtics announcers = Crap.
