Played against caron butler after his rookie season in miami. He lived in the same place most of my family lived and i was usually at the basketball court (Doral Isles).. one day they were playing and me and my friends decided to join in. It was cool.. I had actually forgotten about it, it's been a while.

This was in the Grand Street soccer field in chinatown. I also saw him 2 times in Tribeca this summer on his skateboard.
wow, I know where that is!!
when does Nash play there? I got to stop by there sometime.

lol i don't remember who was in pickup games at my old high school. might have been somebody good, i don't remember
we were in chris duhon's district his senior year, but that was before my freshman year so i didn't see him.
the two best players i've seen were tweety carter (baylor), and greg monroe (current H.S. senior, committed to georgetown- saw him when he was a freshman)
we have had one dude who's dunked in a game this entire decade in a H.S. that has averaged about 800 students during that time. not surprisingly we haven't won a state playoff game in about ten years now, and it ain't happening this year.
we're in a district with four other teams now. the 2004 and 2005 state champions, the 2002 state champions, the 1995 national champions, and the other team that by the way pounded us 64-29 tonight.
but it's not impossible. we made the state semifinals from the same district twice in the mid-80s.
but i will say this. we have fans. we have a nice gym. we have who i think is a good coach. i think it's only a matter of time

Played two guys, never really remembered there names, was way to shocked to find out after playing against them, that they were NCAA ballers, who played against Ron Artest, Allen Iverson .. etc.. back in the mid 90's.
All I remember is that after we played them, 2 on 2 me and my friend, he told us Ron Artest was possibility the best defender he's ever faced, even being so skinny. and that Allen Iverson was the hardest person to stop in his life.
Those 2 guys were monsters tho, jacked up and scary as hell, not to mention they were pretty damn good.
