To me, the funniest thing about this thread is the title. I saw it, noticed that it was 4 pages long and started trying to figure out what the 'O' could stand for. I surmised that it could stand for 'Our,' as in 'Our National Basketball Association.' So I started thinking that it was going to be somebody complaining about non-Americans playing in the NBA...

Then I got to assfault...

I'd like to see outdoor pre-season games every season.

Who in their right mind would want to play outside from November-March in any of these cities

New York
New Jersey
Toronto
Phily
Boston
Milwaukee
Detroit
Cleveland
Denver
Salt lake City

football players do it

Football players don't play in February or March and if they are playing in February it is the Superbowl in a warm weather city. March is Denver's snowiest month of the year, this idea is beyond dumb and I feel a little stupid just replying to the thread.

Not if they can adjust to the elementals.

LOL, elementals.... I could imagine a frigid -10 degree January game in Minny or Chicago... That would be the road trip players on southern teams would try not too make. Preseason games are a great idea, that's where everything stops!

borat, is that you?
Warspite:

Prince + filler for Kobe Bryant
To be honest the way Prince has played and with Kobes injury/age/mileage Im not sure I would do that deal either. Still Prince is more important and he wins the head to head battles with Kobe.

NBA will benefit, and so will players and fans. and also you can bring pets to game because it's outdoor.

This is funnier every time I read it. I am actually in awe.

Think of all the 3 point specialists that would be forced into retirement as a result of this ONBA..

I like this idea, NBA players could all wear shades to protect their eyes from the sun when shooting the ball. Think of how much revenue the league could get selling official wade sunglasses. Instead of asking players to autograph your ball, ask them to autograph their own official sunglasses. Official NBA shades could be bigger than Oakleys.

Genius post.

For real though, I think it might be cool if the All-Star game were held outside... it's not like they're diving on the floor or knocking each other down anyway. Get some chain nets, it would be sick.
