Terrible decision. LBJ should have got at least 2 games, if not 3. He threw the first punch, he started it all. Anyone else would have got more.

If I'm Stewart I'm looking for a chance to injure Lebron on Sunday. Enough is enough. Lebron needs to apologize or he should face the consequences. The league will not teach him a lesson, so the players have to.

100% not with Stewart here, and don’t condone either his actions or Bron’s initial swing. Both deserve suspensions, but I feel that Bron at least got off light. To me both should have been in the 2-3 game range, and it looks bad for the guy who swung to get just a single game after the F2, which is essentially the standard for someone who gets any type of F2. That wasn’t directly provoked & appeared to be a frustration lash-out.

I do have 2 lingering thoughts after watching the Jomboy breakdown:
1. What did Bron say, or not say, after the initial incident? It really seemed like he crossed some type of line from Stewart’s perspective with his response, or lack of response. I don’t want to theorise and start something, but if there’s a view that shows Brons face good enough to lip read I’d be super keen to know.

2. The initial call was a loose ball foul on Stewart & technical foul on Bron? That type of contact goes happens (& almost always goes uncalled) in two out of three rebounding contests. Was it just Brons reaction that made the ref call it a loose ball first? So he could justify the tech if Bron complained?

I definitely expect Stewart to either end bron's career or his life judging by the way he reacted. It was easy for the Wizards' players to bring guns to the locker room. Therefore, I wouldn't be surprised if Stewart brings one to the game and just shoots bron mid game.

But the question still remains what bron could have said "objectively" that would justify that kind of severe reaction by Stewart. Unless he was talking about some family member's death or a still born baby etc. I just don't see what would make that kind of reaction acceptable.
The pistons' staff seemed to dismiss what Stewart was telling them, so it most likely wasn't something along those lines.

Highly doubt anything happens in the next matchup. Those fines would really hurt Stewart's pockets at that point.

Stewart will probably get pretty physical with him and maybe even a few rough fouls but nothing crazy.

The fine is ridiculous. They basically fined him an entire years worth of pay (after taxes). If anything suspend him 20 games. I really disagree with that.

Correction: LeBron threw the ONLY punch.

So if punching a guy gets a one game suspension but reacting gets you two, might as well punch him back.

Great precedent set.
