Not much to discuss. Celtics went out and got better this off-season. They added Holiday and KP. And their record shows their massive improvement. And the Heat were left chasing Dame and ending up with an inefficient Rozier. And their record shows us once again in Play in status. Jimmy half assed it all season long only to get hurt in the play in. The Heat season is over. Imo we should be sending Jimmy to a team trying to be a contender for picks and a young player, The Warriors fit that bill. Maybe for Kuminga, Podz and picks. Heat need to rebuild, the window has closed. The east teams have all improved and the Heat all we did was a tax saving trade. It’s over.

Please. Is Jrue Thanos or something? He’d have to be for that “shove” to be of any consequence

It's a pretty good shove, and if someone is already running, it really doesn't take much to get them off-balance or redirect them. Martin did not seem to be on a collision course with Tatum before that shove.

I also don't understand why Jrue shoved him like that. Seems random as hell.

This series will be short and uninteresting. How about an unrestricted free-for-all in these threads to make it more interesting? Let's see how bad it gets. Less work for you too.

lol you underestimate how bad it will get and how low people will stoop, it would get ugly

You’re right. Let’s do a free for all.

Bisme, you didn’t sing Happy Birthday to me and I took it personally and cried.

I don't know anything about the Heat salary cap but I was under the impression that they weren't in a very good spot either with very little talent to show for it.

Very little talent got us to multiple finals. But the talent you'll have to drop to get away from the 2nd apron will put you right back to where we're ultra-competitive again instead of sweeping us with a leaf-blower like this year.

We're not dropping Any talent. Wyc knows what he bought.

Unless the plan is to have 70% of your cap be in Tatum & Brown's hands and build the rest of the roster with the remaining 30%, you're gonna be dropping in talent. It's the new NBA.

ownership will pay the bill. There's no reason to drop any talent.

Jrue clearly pushed him. Also anyone else find it ironic that a team that harbored KG and just recently Marcus smart are now crying about another team being dirty?

Martin literally jumps in the air to hip check Tatum.

So once again, either Jrue is Thanos, or the Hulk. Or this is an obviously dirty play

Ohhhhh, I didn't forsee any owners signing up for that. Welp, it's the Celtics time then as long as they remain healthy.

He shoved Martin while he already had momentum to time the jump and get the oreb. It takes very little force to add to someone's momentum, Jrue gave him a two handed shove.

Get a buddy, find an open field. Tell him to stand in place and shove you with both hands as you run by him. You'll see how easy it is to lose control or otherwise move in a way you're not trying to move.

That Jrue shove clearly influenced the play. Anyone that's played any sort of organised basketball can vouch for that.

It's a clumsy play there was no cynical intent, the players involved knew it, so I don't know why people on keyboards think they know better? I suppose we need something to talk about.

Did Jrue also have Martin chase down and target Tatum BEFORE the contact?

Martin was looking for the body. Clear as day.

Didn't realize the fans were that delusional. It's gonna be great.
