One of the worst ECF showings for a team that I can remember.

The Pacers competed hard, they just failed in the clutch. They have a decent showing.

For me failing in the clutch at least 3 games in a row is not a decent showing.

Game 1 was a total choke. No argument about that.

Games 3 and 4 were just a very experienced team with championship pedigree (Jrue) out-executing a young and inexperienced team that was also missing its starting PG and best player (not that this is an excuse, the Celtics also had injuries, that's just what the playoffs are).

The Pacers could easily be back here next year. Are the East stars that are older and injury prone going to be less old and injury prone? I mean, seems premature to say they can't make it back next year. Some will try to point to the Hawks, but the Pacers actually have their entire core group under contract with the exception of Siakam (and Toppin can be matched). This was a good run for them.

Man, another close loss here. 3 out of 4 games, we lost at the very end. That **** sucks

Sadly, it doesn't matter. All that people are going to remember is the fact that it was a sweep. Doesn't matter how competitive those games were, people are only going to remember the final score.

Oh well. As I said at the start of the series, we had already exceeded expectations this year. Whatever happened in this series was just gravy. Let's hope that Haliburton's hamstring issues get resolved over the summer and come back next season healthy. That should be our primary focus.

Great series by the Celtics. Had it been any other team, we do not lose all 3 of those close games. Their execution down the stretch, especially on the defensive end, was unreal. Jrue and Derrick White are an incredible defensive duo.

The Celtics were the best team in the East by a considerable margin this year and they deserve to be in the Finals. I wish them the best of luck.

Itll say sweep but Indiana made the C’s work hard for it. Can’t ask anymore for a team missing its star.

The score board says 4-0 but this was by far the hardest series the Celtics have played this season. I wasn't really concerned with the Siakim trade when it happened but he proved me wrong. I see there are a lot of fans from other cities downing the Pacers. They're jealous of a team on the rise.

Yep. At the end of the day, #2 through #8 in the East finished the season being within 4 games of each other and the Pacers were smack-dab in this group throughout the season. Not a lot of separation there.
