Jokic is in such confusingly great shape. He looks like the Michelin Man running up and down court. And the pace always makes it look like he should be collapsing and going into cardiac arrest. But he never does.

There was a documentary during the 23 year that showed a few minutes of his off season conditiong training and even as Den fan i could not belive the sets and the excersises he was doing then and how he killed them. The story of him just drinking in the off season, while true doesn't show the few months of absolute work he puts in

Heliocentric players need backup heliocentric players.

You ideally want a system to play offense that doesn't change too drastically when a single player sits.

Maybe Nuggets should try get Jaylin Williams as a backup to Jokic. Not as good clearly but still capable of running some similar actions.

I think that used to be the idea with Mason Plumlee.
Not easy to find a backup center with that skillset though. I assume you're suggesting Jaylin Williams based off that ridiculous thread last week? He doesn't actually play like a hub for OKC.

He doesn't typically because they don't play that way but he has the skill to do it. He's a relatively cheap backup option that is a mobile big that can run some of the same actions as Jokic in the 16 minutes Jokic sits.
