The Knicks were injured last year and lost in 7 to the pacers. This year they’re better and not injured.

The Pacers are better too, should be another great series.

Truth. The Knicks are entirely different with their changes, hard to compare last year.

My first thought is will Thibs go more than 7 players deep. Pacers can run the legs out of guys pretty easily, the longer the series goes, it could be an issue. Knicks don't need to, but this def puts pressure on them to finish tomorrow.

Great game, Cavs fans. I think that your team really left it all on the court tonight and has nothing to be embarrassed about. Mitchell and Garland just weren't healthy enough tonight and were clearly bothered by the injuries they were playing through. Still, Mitchell's effort was, once again, almost Herculean and Garland really, really tried to tough it out. He did the best he could but playing through a turf toe as a start and stop player is no joke. It really limits your shiftiness and what you can do.

As for my Pacers, I am so **** happy for them. They really deserved this after all the **** they've heard ever since they made last year's ECF. Well, going there once more is proving that last year was no fluke. So **** happy for them and so damn proud. This has been an awesome playoffs for us. Every single starter contributed immensely to this win and everyone made huge plays down the stretch. Once again, a total team win.

What is Vegas smoking giving the Knicks better odds to win the championship than the Pacers when they've done nothing to deserve it? The Knicks got help from the refs to win the first round, and while they'd likely get past the Celtics with Tatum, because of the way the first 3 games of that series went down, with the Knicks getting down by 20+ points in all of them, the Celtics would have a great chance to come back and win the series with Tatum. Yeah, I know run-on sentence. Nobody helped the Pacers. The earned their trip to the conference finals.

Not to pile on, but really wasn't impressed by Atkinson in the series.

Almost felt like he had 1 card, played it and got game 3, then Carlisle adjusted and Atkinson just wasn't sure where to go from there.

Honestly though, his press conferences did not give a good impression of him for me either. Just didn't seem like a dude who could handle the pressure...but also...I know nothing. Just my thoughts.

Garland's the guy to move I think. A Mitchell/Garland backcourt is rough when you go up against an elite guard.

They should have traded him last year. They're now at a disadvantage because teams know that they have to make a move this offseason, especially after being over the 2nd apron. I thought they would get rid of their small backcourt after losing to the Knicks 2 seasons ago.

The Pacers won fair and square, I ain't about to use injury excuses, but the effort was absolutely pathetic for most of the night. We rested players all year for them to look this **** gassed after sweeping the first round?

Also massive game from Haliburton on the road in an elimination game. Especially coming back from the early foul trouble. That could take a lot of players out of rhythm, but he just came back with a vengence.
