For maybe half the season if they're lucky

I maybe overreacting but he has all nba potential. This feels like a Halliburton situation all over again.

Seems like every year there's a senior who absolutely balls out, tests well at the combine, shows steady growth and people dont take them serious because they're not a 18 year old freshman.

Clifford is an absolute baller, I'm not sure about All NBA, but hes for sure one of the guys who can break his "ceiling". His creation ability in the midrange was impressive, and leads me to believe he has hidden potential as a scorer.

I agree, but there's also the reverse. A guy like Chris Duarte came into Summer league and the NBA swinging, but then tapered off as the season progressed and the younger prospects got acclimated.

But I agree, he's scoring efficiently these 3 games. I like the combo of Cliff and Carter off the bench.

Bronny james is dog chit

10 turnover game, stripped multiple times, too slow, sloppy handle and a few extremely low iq passes.

Caleb Love has truly been chucking without a conscience this summer. He might not make it to training camp to even keep his two-way contract at this rate.

Every UNC fan gasps in mock surprise.

Still will always love him beyond words for what he did to Coach K in ‘22 (twice!) mind you.

He was just a terrible fit in Phoenix and his contract was downright awful for the value that they got back from him. That said he was still efficient scoring (.582 and .571 efg the last 2 years).

I don't think he averages that high given he will be sharing shots with Kawhi and Harden. But he has done it twice in his career already and he just turned 32... Harden also is much better at distributing the ball...

For 2 years / 11 million that is a great deal for the Clips...

I don’t see that much of a difference in terms of usage and shots available with the Clippers than what Beal had with the Suns. If anything Beal might have less usage and shots available when you factor in Collins also averaged more shot attempts than he did last season and Zubac wasn’t that far behind.

That’s 5 players when healthy that averaged more than 11 shot attempts per in Harden, Beal, Kawhi, Collin’s and Zubac. It’s gonna be a lesser role barring significant injuries which to be fair may not be that unreasonable to assume considering the injury history of some of their players.

Gonzalez should get some decent minutes with the Celtics this season, not just in the G League.

Tbh he looks good..at his size with above average passing, has an actual jumpshot and is pretty mobile too

I imagine he doesn't speak English well, needs to mature and adapt to the NBA game but he looks like a dude that will move to the top 5 in a redraft a few years from now. The Chinese audience is just a bonus, kid's got game imo

Nuggets drafted Holmes last season hoping he could fill that PF\Backup C role. He tore his achilles in training camp and sat out his rookie season

monster game tonight..if he can be that guy, the Nuggets went fron no backup to Val plus Holmes, Nuggets gonna be a problem if he can produce in the NBA

CMB is sooo good. If he develops a consistent shot, what limit is there to his ceiling? He already looks like a 10 year old vet who makes the game slow around him, who uses angles perfectly, positions his body perfectly, who makes everything look low effort AND he is an elite defender?

Those are actually the type of blocked shots you DON"T want as much because the offensive team is always going to keep possession of the ball if it's sent out of bounds.

On the other hand a block that stays in bounds can be grabbed by your team and possibly turned into a fast break going the other way. See Bill Russell for example, he has always been praised by coaches and analysts for his ability to keep his blocks in bounds.

Swatting one into the seats does "look" impressive but it's clearly not the most effective way to block shots.

Curious how he looks like against real NBA competition.

But very happy so far and I didn't even want him at our pick. As usual I'm wrong
