Yep. It's a crazy stat for few reasons.

First, most of every player in that range and above is a great scorer or start player (minus Brunson and KPJ)

But most impressive is that even with that - 68% of all his points are in the paint.

He's literally scoring 68% of his points, unassisted, in the paint, as wing player primarily operating from the perimeter with little to no reliance on 3s, FTs, or even fast break points.

Basically just tells us he can score hyper efficiently on his own creating his own opportunities very consistently. (While shooting 55%)
52.6% from the field.

Most of his unassisted shots are layups off the fast break and off offensive rebounds. It helps his rebounding numbers to not play with a center.

That's actually not true (which is the most amazing part of all this). He's scoring most of his points in the half court.

Just say you haven't seen a single Raptors game this season and be gone.

Here's him playing against your Magic:

How many of those shots are easy layups off offensive rebounds?

Probably be more of an Okoro-Cade / Mobley-Grant showdown, but we should at least get a few Mobley-Cade matchups.

Thanks Cpt. Literal... in all seriousness, we're just at the beginning of what looks to be a star-studded rookie class. Good times...

I think Barnes is the best player on the Raptors. There is some order issues with the side, I’m sure raps fans haven’t been to happy on the teams offense on the whole.

FVV played well last game but he does have some tunnel vision, hit his shots that’s great but man Barnes looks like an easy 20ppg scorer in this league. Midrange looks like, that shot has developed into a bit of weapon now for him.

FVV/GTJ/OG take about 50 shots all up. But none you can run the offense through. FVV can run an offense but with Barnes the theory is to run the whole offense through him.

Don’t take this the wrong way (raps fans) but I reckon a Barnes middle centric offense would work for the Raptors. Free throw middle ground playmaking/shooting/scoring with a 4 out spread kind of like Giannis/Ben in a way sort of deal. OG always been nice on the wing catch and shoot but I reckon Barnes is the smarter basketball player.

This off season, 3 ball work (C&S & Pull up nothing fancy) and basically make the handle as tight as it can be and there’s a complete player potentially.

Anyways Cade and Mobley should be a fun game. Cade will figure it out, had a poor start but hopefully the jumper looks like how it was in College.

You're welcome? Cade won't have it easy scoring on Okoro ... big challenge for him IMO.

I have to remind myself he’s just a rookie even when he’s playing in negatives in the first q (wasn’t bad but wasn’t good) but Mobley is clearly the best player from this draft. I’ve noticed too spurts of scoring in quick time.

Check this as to why he’ll be an elite two way player in the comp 2/3 years from now:

- Open corner wing 3
- Into transition defense block shot at the rim off an attacking drive, push the ball up in transition
- Sets a good screen at the top the key, guard defender gets caught, offensive player gets a comfortable layup finish at the rim

Cavs: + 5
Pistons -2

By his own doing.

He brings top impact in a game. Cavs you got one 100%.

Cade with 12/3/2 on 4/6, and Mobley with 11/5 on 4/7 at half. Top of this class looking good.

Cade will need to fix the turnovers if he’s gonna be a PG. I’m sure he’ll get it together but that was not a good look

Cade has three deficiencies to work on over the summer after this season. Ball security, inside finishing and shooting. These were the glaring holes in his game (shooting was class in College but the transition aspect now he’s having trouble causing separation let alone the shot mechanics being bunkish).

In saying that he’d look a lot better next to a Garland type as the primary facilitator. Hayes and Cade for a backcourt brings little offense.

Cade isn’t a pg he’s a sized SG that’s can rebound.
