Not trying to condone/defend what he did but the kid is only 22-23 years old! He sure getting a lot of hate for doing things any early 20s young adult would do. I've seen much worse offense in this leaque comitted by grown men. He will learn through growing pain.

I would venture to say that a majority of people in their 20s have no desire to sneak a gun into a strip club and then film themselves playing with it and then post it on social media.
Even people in their 20s, who you call "kids", aren't usually that stupid.
In fact even most actual kids aren't that stupid.

I can't remember knowing anyone in their early 20s flashing guns in strip clubs and beating up minors. Stop trying to normalize that behavior. It is far from common.

I'm a 2A advocate. What he's doing is not responsible gun ownership and makes the rest of us look bad. You do not handle a weapon the way he did in that video. And you cannot brandish your weapon the way he allegedly did on that teenager, you also do not point your weapon at Pacers staff if what they said was correct.

All of those are illegal. Guns are used for many things, but if you're going to use it in the situations he was in, it better have been for self defense purposes. Otherwise, those were all illegal. The one in the nightclub technically wasn't illegal, it was just stupid and irresponsible. He seems to be using it as a status symbol to flex on Instagram. Which is dumb.

This isn't directed at Morant, but have to kind of laugh at the league including the games he's missed as part of their suspension. Doesn't really send much of a message if that's how they're going to do things, tbh.

Why even bring up counseling ? You don't go to counseling for a week and come to terms with addiction, sounds like they brought up the "need to get help" in order to limit backlash from the beginning. He should have just went radio silent from the beginning because lying about "getting help" is really a disgusting look for Adam Silver and Morant himself. Bad look on all sides right now

No he wouldn't. In Stern's time, players actually wanted to play. Now they don't and they are gaming the system get paid while not working. A longer suspension would be doing Ja a favor.
