Why is he always getting injured so much come playoff time?

A lot of it are freak accidents. Fultz ramming his shoulder into his face, and Siakim's elbow. Embiid tore his finger ligament on a dunk. He injured his lcl on a block last year, and meniscus on a dunk a few years ago against the Wizards. In all of those situations he also came back earlier than he would have in the regular season (hence me saying he's tough as nails).

The lower leg stuff is why he falls so much, to minimise injury. NBA fans clown him for falling down all the time, but he would be far more injury prone if he didn't do it, think about that. He also does not have great balance, and is a bit clumsy.

Some things are in his control, alot of it were things he had nothing to do with. In the end it's a bit of a mixed bag. Look I get it, his playoff numbers are a horror compared to his regular season. A good chunk is on him, but a lot of it is on factors he didn't have control over. There is a lot of noise involved with injuries, teammates who failed (see Simmons and Harden), and coaches that sucked (Brett Brown, Doc Rivers, Sixers trading Butler who had two finals runs afterwards). Then there is Embiid who passes poorly, can't see a double team if his life depended on it, and then forgetting how to play in crunch time. How much would I attribute his playoff success to his own issues which he is responsible for? Maybe 35-40%.

2) He exaggerates his minor injuries to have an excuse

Realgm poll... I think it's ridiculous that he was the favorite for MVP during the first week when Luka and Tatum had fast starts.

This board was incredibly reluctant to give Embiid his flowers during his MVP season . That vote changed in his favor like the last week last year.

Its really early but I have a feeling Embiid will win MVP again this season with the Sixers finishing the season with the best record in the league. The synergy of this team is really good thanks to Nurse and no Harden.

Hmm, the 76ers and Celtics lead east, the nuggets and Mavs west. While Jokic and Embiid are leading, Luka and Tatum are really blowing at their necks this year. If Mavs somehow manage to stay this high, this might be a Lukas year.
