My dude, I just wanna say a special thank you to you. You have been nothing but class this entire series. RealGM needs more people like you.

Truly sorry your team got banged up, I like what ya'll are doing a lot, and hope that the boys can make a healthy go of it next year.

Best wishes to you in life and for the Cavs man, I enjoyed your posts all series.

Of course. Someone has to lose, so no reason to get bent out of shape about it. These Pacers are really good. Hope they win it all this year. Feels like it’s Indy’s time.

I want to second Sneaky's comments. You were indeed a class act throughout this series and a great poster to boot. Not everyone goes through the tape to find out stuff about the opposing team like you did. That's something that coaches do, not us, fans.

Not to pile on, but really wasn't impressed by Atkinson in the series.

Almost felt like he had 1 card, played it and got game 3, then Carlisle adjusted and Atkinson just wasn't sure where to go from there.

Honestly though, his press conferences did not give a good impression of him for me either. Just didn't seem like a dude who could handle the pressure...but also...I know nothing. Just my thoughts.

Yeah we got spoiled in the regular season. I don't agree 100% with the trade Garland crowd. I'd rather get rid of Allen for the right piece. He just always shows up soft when it matters. Slide Mobley to center and get another spacing big imo

Mitchell and Garland just weren't healthy enough tonight and were clearly bothered by the injuries they were playing through. Still, Mitchell's effort was, once again, almost Herculean and Garland really, really tried to tough it out. He did the best he could but playing through a turf toe as a start and stop player is no joke. It really limits your shiftiness and what you can do.

As for my Pacers, I am so **** happy for them. They really deserved this after all the **** they've heard ever since they made last year's ECF. Well, going there once more is proving that last year was no fluke. So **** happy for them and so damn proud. This has been an awesome playoffs for us. Every single starter contributed immensely to this win and everyone made huge plays down the stretch. Once again, a total team win.

No. We have everything to be embarassed about.

The Pacers won fair and square, I ain't about to use injury excuses, but the effort was absolutely pathetic for most of the night. We rested players all year for them to look this **** gassed after sweeping the first round?

Its kind of weird to think about, because you know these are NBA athletes and in incredible shape, but this is what the Pacers have done all year. They just run like no other team does and it wears every opponent down when the Pacers are able to push the pace and play their game. We did it to the Bucks in round 1, did it to teams in the regular season, by the end of the game, the Pacers are sprinting and the other teams stars are panting. Its one reason we've had so many comebacks this year.

The Knicks got help from the refs to win the first round, and while they'd likely get past the Celtics with Tatum, because of the way the first 3 games of that series went down, with the Knicks getting down by 20+ points in all of them, the Celtics would have a great chance to come back and win the series with Tatum. Yeah, I know run-on sentence. Nobody helped the Pacers. The earned their trip to the conference finals.

Put money on the Pacers before Vegas comes to their senses if you're a gambler.

Meh. People can definitely claim that we benefitted from injuries (which did happen) and therefore doubt us. Also, New York had a better RS record and have home-court advantage.

We're the underdog in this series but that's fine with me.

Yeah, that's my big question heading into this series as well. Would be sweet if Shamet just had the series of his life to give us that 8th man to keep everyone fresh *sigh*

Really wish the Cavs had pushed this to 7 while we had gotten to be the team that rest

Bruh if you count on Shamet to save the Knicks    you’d better believe that I’m your lucky charm

Nah, luckily we stole this robot from lil bro, so we don't need to go 8 deep...but Shamet is a chippy ass defender, so when he's hitting shots he can be a nice bench player.

Kevin Pritchard also deserves his flowers.

Kudos to the Pacers and their fans. Multiple comebacks to win games this series to advance.

I wish the Cavs coulda been healthy for the series, not sure it would've mattered but woulda been nice to have more clarity.

I will say the Pacers and Colts have some awesome facilities! Been up there the last 2 years, everyone i encountered was super kind, fun city.ImageImage

Does that "big playmaker" also score 20 a game? If not, who replaced Garland's scoring?

He's almost like the Duncan of good players. Not flashy, but super consistent. Don't notice him a ton most games, then you look up and he casually has 24/8.

I definitely don't think ya'll should trade Garland. I'm not sure what has happened with him in previous post-seasons, seems he hasn't done great in them based off comments, but I think he was very clearly just hurt for this one.

Look, game 4 was indeed embarrassing. They have definitely earned the criticism for that game. But tonight? They really gave it their all, man. They just had nothing left in the tank by the end of the game.

And I will once again second what Sneaky said. Playing against this Pacers team is incredibly taxing. You know how in the end of big games, the stars will take a moment to rest and catch their breath on defense while guarding some non-shooter in the corner? Yeah, the Pacers aren't going to afford you to take those breaks. Everyone is a threat to shoot, eveyone is a threat to score and both the ball and the players in perpetual motion. And we also run. Even off of made baskets, we'll try to run. We quite simply do not let the other team catch their breath. And since Carlisle trusts 11 players, we can afford to play that way. We have the bodies to do it and to give breathers to our guys.

We're a weird team, that's for sure, but there's a method to the madness.

Reasonable minds can agree, if the Knicks beat the Pacers in the ECF, its only because ArksNets put a Pacers logo next to his name.
