I honestly think Kon could average 25-28 points THIS season if he had the usage. The guy barely touches the ball and goes stretches without getting passed the ball. I've been watching a lot of Hornets/Bobcats over the years, I've never seen a player of ours create shots so quickly out of nothing with his footwork, head fakes, etc. and then also shoot the ball so fast and pure and drain it. It's like if Harden was faster. Its insane.

I was so pathetically wrong about this guy. Can you imagine him on the Spurs? It would have been over. Charlotte got **** lucky for once

Cooper Flagg averages more Rebounds, Assists, Steals and Blocks than Kon Knueppel.

Cooper has had no massive offensive games like KK nor being part of game winning or tying shots/plays like KK has so far.

Look, its now apparent this is now a two horse race between Cooper Flagg and Kon Knueppel

Ultimately i think Cooper will win (in part due to the Mavs getting an undeserved and unwarranted amount of National Televised/ESPN games) but i have been more delighted and impressed by KK than Cooper, whom to be fair, is hamstrung by a bum deadbeat unimagintive coach. Its a credit to Cooper' talent he is still part of this two horse race in a very talented/stacked rookie class.

I just don't want to sound like a Cooper hater, but i am all in on the King Kon bandwagon.

But Flagg is averaging 16ppg and scored 35 today, so he might catch Konn's 18ppg soon.

Fair enough. Didn't watch the Mavs v Clips game but delighted to see Coops got his career high in points.

Ultmately as i say i think Cooper will win ROTY (only things that can stop him is Kidd and or injury)

But both boys have clearly seperated themselves from the rest in this rookie class (Queen and Edgecombe have also been great)

I really enjoy seeing these guys balling out. Cooper looked really sharp today and he was looking for his shot, had some really nice plays. Career high pts, he's impacting a lot defensively. I love the confidence growing each game.

OTOH, I also caught the Hornets game and Knueppel is really making impacts across the floor and his offensive game is clicking right now. They played really well in OT. It looks awesome for the ROY race but I'm favoring Flagg for his aggregate stats. Still, really happy to see Kon playing well, only my 2nd Hornets game I've watched and I'm left impressed.
Cheers

When the Bulls played the Hornets earlier this week, they hedged toward Kon defensively. That was effective in slowing down Kon (who was 5-14 on the night) but it opened up the court for the other Hornets. Rare to see a November rookie receive that much respect from an opposing coach!

Coop youngest player in history to score 35.

Trade everyone and give him the ball.

Looks like one of the strongest drafts in recent history after the initial part of the season. Can't remember the last time we had this many rookies playing well and putting up big numbers.

I hate Duke.

That said, I think Carlos Boozer Jr. will be next year's ROTY over Peterson, Dybantsa, and Wilson.

After being injured, playing just a few mins total and relegated to the G-league, Danny Wolf finally got some burn in the last Nets game and balled out

he came off the bench but ended playing 30 mins, finished with a team high 22 pts on 8-16 from the field and 5-9 from three, 4 rebs, 4 assists and a block vs. Giannis and the Bucks (in a blow-out loss)

he def flashed some skills, some strengths and also some weaknesses but there's def potential there, there's really not a good reason for the Nets not to give him some more burn

Ya the fact Flagg is this good at 18 is pretty ridiculous.

Just imagine what he’s going to look like in 10 years when he’s still in his 20s. I mean hell, just wait until his 3pt shot starts to drop
