Then he got a pretty cowardice personality , remind me of those dumb bystanders who would just stood there and filmed with their mobile phones when they saw something happened

Except the "fights" in basketball 99% of the time have no punches thrown.

Coward is the wrong word to use for Lonzo for that situation. There's nothing cowardly about avoiding a pointless confrontation like that. Sure, you generally want your guys to come in and at least show that they have a teammates back, but if you're not that type of person there's nothing wrong with that

No one ask you to go and throw in punches, you can pull your teammates away or break up the scuffle between those two , it's probably not a big deal if you are distant away from the incident and didn't rush over to it, but to walked past them as if it's none of my business like he did, that's just ridiculous and it's not "nothing wrong" .

Glad to see someone else not putting a ton of stock into this whole thing.

it's a red flag, especially in a low stakes NBA "fight"

in real life if you dont step up for your crew you a fraud

I mean, it's not a big deal and I'm not shunning the guy, but it's an interesting character trait.

And no, most NBA players would go and try and help their teammate in that situation or to try and calm the situation. Walking off like nothing is happening isn't normal.

i already addressed the fact that it's an NBA game.

everyone knows that nothing real is going down in an NBA "fight" (hence why i keep putting fight in quotations)

if lonzo couldnt even be assed to even walk towards the low stakes confrontation then in dont know what to say. that's a massive red flag in my book. you expect this guy to run an offense en route to a championship?

lonzo had nothing to lose by even acting like he cared since it's just an NBA scuffle. he just walked away though.

it's just a red flag

For some reason that move is giving me images of a scene from the movie "Draft Day"

Does anybody know if any of Ball's teammates went to his birthday party??

doesn't really matter what realgm thinks about the situation, i'm sure there's players in that laker locker room that are gonna side eye lonzo for that b**** move. "i don't want to pick up a tech" sticking up for your teammates is like an unwritten rule? whether or not it's just a shoving match. if you're the golden child of LA, at least try to act like you care about the situation.

i gaurantee you that players around the league are gonna think lonzo is a b**** after watching that clip

That's exactly it. Whether we think it's a big deal or not is irrelevant, because I guarantee you the Lakers' players won't like it.

almost every player in the nba, no matter where they from, even if it's ibaka from Congo or Kanter from Turkey, steps up for his teammates.

it's just a universal unwritten rule

and lonzo walks away not giving a fuq...

Not only is it a bad look to not ride with your teammates, but it's especially worse for Lonzo. As one of the worst offensive players in NBA history, he should be looking for every opportunity to endear himself to his teammates.

He's smart.

Guys get suspended. He gets more minutes in the 4th quarter

Kind of agree with this. Showed no care about his teammate whatsoever.

Lonzo embarrasses himself every single game. It is astonishing.

The guy just had his brother luckily escape a chinese jail, I'm sure jumping in a fight is the last thing he wants to do.

yeah,Lonzo should have gotten involved
One thing is to walk past the situation when somebody shoves YOU. But to IGNORE what's happening to your teammates is not a good sign of maturity.

It was SNOBBISH at the highest level.
I don't think personality(in the sense of "tendencies") matters here given that even introverted people would have least gotten close to the scuffle and shown interest. He simply lacks the basics of feeling a "sense of community" having always lived in a cozy environment where he probably made friends because he was the "cool kid",not because the need to be included

From an evolutionary perspective he was clever, he's a short scrawny dude but...come on, show some interest in other people's health even if you're not about "that life".

u never know how teammates will react but it would be funny if lonzo got into an altercation and none of his teammates have his back
