LMAO, come on man, even the Warriors became toast when they lost their best player. Name me a team who can lose a top 5 player in the NBA and still be great?

I agree on that, but the chances of injury is higher in their case. Lebron is really old. Yes, he's still very good, but his body has a high chance of failing him.
AD's injury issues are also well documented.

Horrible trade for the pelicans. They got a poor mans rondo and a bust in lonzo and a guy with blood clot problems and who is overrated anyways and is gonna be overpaid in a year when dumb franchises start throwing money for him and his "potential" let me not get started on josh hart beyond trash but salary filler.. that 4th pick is medicore, heavy fall of from 3, that pick is either gonna bust or turn into a average starter at best ugh.. Those other two picks are probably unprotected they better be but they are still gonna be late picks so they don't really matter too much. As much as it pains me to say this Fakers fleeced the pels and griffin is an idiot. Even when Lebum is done being a top 10 player in like 2 years, they can still build around AD since he will be pretty young still and they are in LA so they will attract some FA then. Fakers got a legit franchise players for alteast 6-7 years to build around I am pissed. This big market BS is ruining this league and is giving trash organizations waay to much advantage to build contenders even when they are terribly mismanaged **** disgusting!!!

Have those that think the Pelicans won this trade learned nothing from the Raptors winning the championship?
Sometimes you just gotta go all in to win now. If it doesn't work, back the drawing board. If it works, it can take your franchise to the promise land. A worthwhile risk in my opinion.

The way I read it. Ingram would rather grow with Zion, than be part of the 35 year old LeBron circus.

Unless LeBron changes his game completely (unrealistic) when big guys play with him, they're relegated to just standing around waiting to get the ball to shoot jumpers. Can't judge AD based off of his numbers in NO because like with Bosh and Love, they have to completely change their game to fit with LeBron.

Not a single team could come anywhere near matching that.

Guess kuzma talk was a smoke screen? I think Hart is a really good pickup.

Regardless the Pelicans have some great young pieces already. Not many teams get to turn things around this fast.

They definitely have one of the best young cores in the league. The pelicans will love Ingram. He will be an All Star.

They actually bettered the return. If they traded last season, they probably wouldn’t have the #4 overall.

She says that there might be pick swaps involved. That means that the years when the Lakers can't trade a pick (because you can't trade back to back picks) that the Pelicans would have swap rights. Thus....control of 7 years of the Lakers draft.

Couldn't be happier for Ingram, Ball, Randle, and Hart to be out of that toxic environment.

Jrue is more of two guard, so they can play together. I really like this trade for Lonzo, fresh start with young team whose young star is a Zion us exactly the type of player that Lonzo playmaking fits with.

Good trade for both teams ..

They are not allowed to be without a first round pick in consecutive drafts. Swaps are allowed. However, let's be honest, it's unlikely the Pelicans are going to have a lower pick than the Lakers anytime soon.

and per ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne, New Orleans also has multiple, extended years of pick swap rights coming, although those details haven’t been made public as of this moment.

another interesting idea i had...turn Ball around to Chicago for WC3, and take Garland 4th.

Garland
Jrue
Ingram
Zion
WC3

Griff can really make something happen here if he's creativ
