That fool Kerr will still say he is coming back for Game 7. His coach and the front office has ruined KD career by rushing him, they were so desperate.

Even if that was one of the weakest move in sport to join GSW and really didn't liked him because that, i wish him speedy and full recovery.

Altrough, maybe we can impact our own destiny a bit. Would you think that this would happened if he stayed in OKC or joined some other team? I doubt it, but we will never know.

Honestly I could have done without Bob Myers sniveling and crying.

The Warriors knew the risk when they rushed KD back out there. All that injured calf talk was BS. Everyone except for the Warriors organization immediately and kept pointing out that KD's injury looked more like an achilles injury than a calf injury.

They played with fire and got burned.

The next time we will see KD play in an NBA game is the fall of 2020. Such a fun player to watch. Heartbreaking moment for sports fan right now.

Jalen Rose said right before Game 4 that KD's workout didn't look good at all and didn't look like he would return for the Finals.

Further proof that KD was rushed back.

I guarantee KD wanted to play

So what? Athletes want to compete even if it's not good for them. It shouldn't be their decision. That's why teams have doctors and trainers.

I understand what you are saying, but apparently, it has to be their decision. You can't trust anybody but yourself, and you have to listen to your body. Kawhi was right, and hopefully it will change the approach of players in general.

Is Durant the most heroic and unselfish superstar in NBA history? Risking major injury for GS, on eve of free agency

Post#668 » by Ben Simmons » Tue Jun 11, 2019 11:05 am

This was Willis Reed and more, pure team-first, plus he delivered 11 points (and +6 with him on the floor), so Golden State would have lost if Kevin Durant didn't play :usa:

Him and Isaiah Thomas.

Coincidentally both are going to get screwed by their teams for money.

No.

If anything, Durant was a fecking idiot.

So what? At the end of the day, Durant wanted to play despite the risk to aggravating his calf-injury.

He should've just sitting out, although he would face criticism from the media & even Warriors' fans/organization.

But in the grand scheme of things, it's nothing compared to suffering a devastating injury.

Players always has to look out for what's best for themselves.

I wouldn't be surprised if Warriors are tossing away Durant like Boston did with IT.

Durant was selfish to play. It’s a shame. I would’ve been home resting if I were KD.

So much talk of class that game. I'm expecting the warriors to max him.

Yes, clearly he injured his Achilles last month, if you notice the placement of the ice packs. Why risk your prime? It’s selfish on himself, I mean he’s a trooper for going through it, but it wasn’t a smart move.

Hopefully either the Knicks or Warriors Max him out. This situation is raptors fans cheering that injury disgusting.

I can't stand KD and how boring the NBA has become because of his move, but dude was literally in a lose lose situation.

If he didn't play, people would have doubted his love for the game and said stuff like, he never cared for the Warriors and wanted the world to see that they can't win without him.

He played while most likely not 100% healthy and maybe ruined his remaining career if it is really an achilles tear. I hope it's only a partial tear (if that is possible) and he will be close to full health when the next season starts.
