You asked what makes Scottie a wing and I answered lol
Except a wing is generally considered to be a SF/SG, not a PG.
What I was getting at, though, is there's a fair chance both players end up primarily playing PF.
Sure but Scottie has played PG and SF in several lineups. He’s pretty much positionless and once Pascal returns soon, I don’t think Scottie will be full time PF. More likely that we see Scottie slide over to SF and OG to SG
Yeah Scottie looks very comfortable with the ball in his hands both in transition and half-court. Plopping him at pf just because of his size is fine but a waste imo, you want this guy as one of your primary ball-handlers as his vision and ball-handling are pretty unique.
When Siakam returns I imagine pf- Siakam, f- Barnes, g Anunoby as well. I don't think that disadvantages us defensively in any way and OG is a much better shooter these days and can probably hold the fort. Lets Barnes act as secondary ball-handler to FVV, which will pay off big-time in the long run.
Scottie Barnes is NOT Draymond Green despite everyone comparing the two.
