Was it by Jokic being better?

The problem with the MVP is that it never goes to the best player anymore. It just goes to the guy who goes balls to the wall in the regular season and is easily neutered in the playoffs by the guys who have been saving their best stuff.

Posting a Sixers fan blog post to make an argument here is shameless behavior lol

I tried giving it a read regardless but couldn’t continue after reading this garbage  It’s nowhere near being comparable
The Sixers on-going drama with Simmons not playing could have derailed this team’s chemistry and is just as similar with Jokic playing without Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr..

MVP was never supposed to be the “Best player” award. Otherwise Lebron would’ve had over 10 of them. Regardless, Jokic is a better player than Embiid and so is Giannis.

When was the last time it was going to best player? 1962?

Actually it's the opposite.

You should have gone a little farther. There's this gem:

The Sixers were also 6-8 without their big man this year, further cementing just how valuable he was to his team’s success.

Nuggets were 2-6 without Jokic, and of course all variations of +/- stats are also consistent.

And guess what, later in the article, the highly respected Stephen Jackson makes another appearance

LOL at calling this a great article. It's so hilariously biased.

The Nuggets were a sixth seed and 16 games back of 1st place in a weaker conference compared to the Sixers who were a fourth seed and only 2 games back of 1st place.

This make it seem as if there was some big gaps in the records, but actually the Sixers won only 3 more games, most of the gap presented here is simply because Phoenix was way better than any East team which is completely irrelevant in this discussion. And "the stronger conference" won a grand total of 2 games more against the "weaker" this season (out of 450 interconference games), which is basically a wash.

So let Jokic have his award while he sits back on his couch after getting bounced in the first round for the second straight year

And here this silly rant ends up with a blatant lie. Surprise, surprise...

Well deserved. It's a regular season award and he definitely is the singular most valuable player to his team this season. I don't care he got swept by GS. Who else in the league is even making the playoffs missing Murray and Porter all year? On the flip side switch Jokic with Embiid or even Giannis and he is probably still playing right now

Posting that “great” article probably made things worse for eyeatoma lol. Horrible article that reeks of bias and the writer didn’t even care to educate themselves on what they’re writing

Can you chill out? Be happy Embiid is in the playoffs and could get to the ECF at least

Jokic made sure he didn't have any competition this season. What an amazing achievement.

Truly well deserved. His impact this season was off the charts and he did a carry job that nobody else could do.
GOAT regular season IMO.

It's honestly embarassing how much some people in this thread are crying about Jokic winning. Take the L and walk away.

Very well deserved. Him and Giannis are in a league of their own right now.

You should be happy this season because Jokic was objectively the best player.

When someone says that the drama that Philly had to endure this year isn't comparable to what Joker had to deal with, why should I chill out. Feel free to not respond to my posts or block me if I'm bothering you.

Right you're not biased at all. Coming from a Raptors fan this is hilarious.
