Being wobbly after getting up from a hit to the head doesn’t prove concussion if that’s what you’re assuming. They run these guys thru a battery of tests in situations like these. Teams aren’t risking anything when tens of millions are on the line. This isn’t the nfl when players are burned thru like cheap condoms.

Not saying you’re wrong but I don’t buy it

I'm a Dolphins fan and I called my own team out on the same BS they pulled when Tua was clearly concussed and they called it a 'back injury', only to see him get a second one the next game. It's about player safety.

I don’t think it makes sense to compare the nba to the nfl though. The nfl doesn’t care about player safety. Never has. Plus the nba doesn’t have formal concussion protocols. I find it hard to believe he was failing concussion tests

That layup was so easy, Luka waved off any celebration.

Then how did they make the conference finals? I mean, according to your logic, the only teams that shouldn't break up are Dallas and Boston.

So weird. This could have happened in Game 4 but Mavs/Luka decided they wanted the close out game on the road.

Some things just don't make sense in basketball (or all of sports).

Personally, I am not convinced that the entire team needs to be imploded after making the Western Conference Finals for the first time in two decades after sweeping Phoenix and beating out the 2023 NBA Champs in a tough, seven game series.

This game sucks, it is a bummer. That said, the prior games were won by 3, 1, 9, and 5. It was a close series where the better team won, regardless of a brutal blowout to end it.

I think it’s a matchup issue along with Luka becoming healthier. Dallas with lively and gafford are an issue for the wolves. And even with that the first 4 games were close with the game won by which stars were better in each.

Why the hell would you win a game 4 hype your fanbase in giving some hope only to embarrass yourself in front of your home fans in the first quarter and the game being virtually over 20 min in. This is cruel af

Blowing it up is overrated, especially in an era of parity. If you have your top 2 guys you compete and just hope a small move or 2 work out. Like it has been for Dallas this year after the trades.

For sure is and I don't mean it like it's an end of the world thing BUT the one thing that would kinda concern me is while time is on your side with Ant, it's not with Conley & Gobert.

The West will only be tougher & tougher as teams like LAL & PHX try to recoup, MEM will be back in the hunt, Luka will still be a supernova and then you'll have teams like HOU & SAS that are gonna start taking some games. I just wonder how they'll be able to keep pushing through all that competition.

But that's probably another year or two before it's a real concern, I just think at times it's made to sound like MIN is such a young team because it's best player is but some VERY key pieces are not spring chickens anymore...

Not this again. It's almost like "team" matters.

Which is why it's dumb lay this all on ANT.

Guys other than Ant are 11/35, shooting 31.4% FG. If you then also take out KAT, that's 6/25, or 24%. The bench is 1/10. Conley's 2/5, 0/2 inside the arc. Gobert's 3/7.

Ant isn't dominating, but he's playing okay. More importantly, though, you can't blow on D and ALSO shoot 35.6% FG as a team and expect to be in it. That isn't on Ant.

And none of them are playing defense either.

That was too easy. The fact that Luka immediately had that calm down gesture towards his teammates shows me that they're locked tf in.

Yep

Crazy thing I still don't know my max and I have been benching for a year. The more you can rep heavier weight the more you will build that max.

Not bragging but I think I can hit 300 at least once. I will try it tomorrow.

i likewise don’t know my max lol, i usually work out alone and don’t like asking others to spot so i play it safe. i rep out a solid 5 or 6 on 195 with relatives ease.. afraid to go too far over that tho lol
Thats good bro.

I think if you benching anything over 200 5reps or better you are pretty strong. You seem to be on that line.

Crazy thing is benching has nothing to do with your weight. It's all technique. I have this 21yr old kid who about 5'9 165 and he can bench 265 and squat 400+.

I'm still trying to find that right technique on the bench. I know I'm capable of benching a lot more if I find that right technique.

Luka being a cold blood psychopath who doesn’t just want to win the series but also embarrass the opponent on their home court will explain everything.
