what are the two lottery picks? where are they coming from? i just wanna know if im uninformed or not.

Nobody knows what the picks are but if Mags can claim that the Nets are only willing to send Lakers 1st and another pick without a source than shouldn't I be able to claim that the Nets are willing to send two lotto picks. Both are possible.

so there are no lottery picks.

The Nets 2011 pick, 2012 pick. GSW's 2011 or 2012 picks. There's some protection on the GSW picks but they wear off in a few years. The Nets definately have the picks. If they're willing to move them than they should be front runners for Melo.

You REALLY think Minny or Memphis is going to trade one of their lottery picks for Randolph?

Code: Select all

Nets receive the Warriors' 2011 first-round pick (lottery protected in 2011, top 11 protected in 2012, top 10 protected in 2013, if not conveyed by 2013, Nets will instead receive the Warriors' 2013 and 2015 second-round picks) (Marcus Williams trade 07-22-08)

also the Nets pick wouldnt be lottery if they get Melo. Unless Denver doesnt think Melo can make them win(which I strongly doubt)

There is absolutely NO POINT in keeping Randolph on board if Shawne freakin' Williams is going to get the nod over him when Gallo goes down for a few weeks with an injury. If the BS you're spewing were true, he would have been playing alongside Granger a long time ago.

And please stop with the old "this thread isn't for that, I'm not going there" talk. If that were true, you wouldn't have brought it up in the first place. Funny how you attempt to play that card after doing nothing but talking Randolph for the last few pages because I think it's a little too late for you to attempt to bail and pull the ripcord on that one.

Donnie rejected the trade. LOL. We dont need a bad 1st round pick. But we do need a player like AR. Shawne Williams has been bad? LOL. He has been beasting. EDIT: Beasting may be a bit far, but he has been playing his role perfectly.

Dude, I just said he can get a first. People started talking about him specifically. I wanted to talk about him pertaining to Melo. NOT OTHERWISE,

Now stop please.

Yeah, Shawne Williams has been beasting all right. http://www.basketball-reference.com/players/w/willish03/gamelog/2011/

Quick, someone inform the Denver FO that they can have Chandler, Fields and Gallo but Williams is untouchable. You stop please.

As far as Randolph is concerned, it's not so much that you said "1st rounder", it's that you said "lottery". Get real.

Just because Fields has been undeniably better than Favors so far, it doesn't mean that he's a more enticing prospect. Favors is 6'10" and 3 years younger. If he pans out, he is 100x more valuable than Fields. And you know that.

so potential works for favors but not randolph??? lol

LOL. That's not a site, they're using the "code" button. It's right next to the "quote" button.

Code: Select all

Stuff wrapped in "code" tags show up like this.

Even with the protection on the 2011 GSW. The 2012 GSW pick isn't as protected and there's no protection on either of the Nets picks.

I also think that Melo and Lopez by themselves don't gurantee a playoff spot. They're third option would be Outlaw. If either gets injured the Nets would be screwed.

That's old, Riley lowered the protection to delay the pick from 2011 to 2012. IIRC it's now top 7 for a couple years and then top 6.

Theres an edit from a long long time ago there. but you chose to run with it of course. lol. he plays his role very very well.

LOL at the second. Again has been beasting in his role.

And? I was still pertaining to the Melo trade.

Arguing with a Knicks fan is like banging your head against a wall.

If NY had such great talent WHY is Denver not even listening to them? Why has NO ONE reported anything on trade talks between NY and Denver?

I'll tell you why!!! No one values the Knick's assets besides Knick fans. Favors, 2 first round picks, and Harris DESTROYS anything the Knicks can offer ever.

Billups and Rip would be the 3rd and 4th option in the rumored deal. They would make the playoffs especially this year.
