I think the message here is the more minutes Garnett gets, the better chance the Raptors have of winning.
What?

Well, over the course of the season series, Valanciunas played equal minutes defending Garnett and the Plumlee/Blatche combo. He held Garneet to 2/9 of shooting, but Plumlee/Blatche went 9/9. I don't think that means all that much, but the numbers suggest Valanciunas likes the Garnett match up.

If raptors lose this series, Casey should be fired the next day.

What the nets did was a complete disrespect and any good coach would have used that fuel to motivate his guys.

I feel like the pressure is on the Raptors to win game 1. You DO NOT want to be the home team and lose game 1, and immediately go down 0-1. And that would make game 2 pretty much a must-win for the Raps.

How? the Nets are "expected" to win by everyone, have 500000000 games of playoff experience. If they don't even beat the Raptors, a $130 million roster will have failed to beat a team that was expected to tank this year  All the pressure is on Brooklyn bro

For the overall series, sure. For game 1? It would be pretty bad for the Raps if they drop game 1. For Brooklyn, they just need to win either of the first two games to take HCA. Whether it's game 1 or game 2, it doesn't matter for them.

And everyone expects them to win? Huh? The vast majority of people here picked the Raptors. ESPN's "experts" are pretty much divided down the middle as to who will win. There was a video posted earlier with Coach Nick who picked the Raptors to win. The Nets losing would be a failure based on pre-season expectations...but as of right now, most people are picking the Raptors.

Agreed.

I think the TOR fans are pumped after a great season but BRK was build for the post season. They got a slow start with injuries and mixing in PP and KG. That was expected. I predicted the would come on strong the 2nd half and make the playoffs when they were more then 10 games under .500. They did.

TOR does have the speed advantage but I don't think TOR fans realize what Plumlee has done for their front court lately. He is a big that can run and he is strong and athletic. That changes the front court dynamics a ton. Plumlee, KG, Blatche are enough to handle Jonas, Amir and Hansbrough

Its going to come down to DeRozan, Lowry, and Vasquez vs Williams, Livingston, PP, Joe Johnson

Speed vs Size and experience.

Brooklyn should play big and make TOR try to adjust. Just methodically wear them down.
