I was shock on how awful the JAZZ were on defense on game one. Morant got past every single player who was guarding him he made Conley look like a 40 year old player.

Big reason why both Gobert and Conley foul out.

Add to this. Grizzlies had 29 deflections or steals, Jazz only - 5.

Betting line has Jazz at -9.5 for tonight. That's a healthy spread for a playoff game.

Both players, any given night, can lead the team in scoring. Its OK to disagree though - I'm good. The Jazz have at least 6 guys in that category. The Jazz are not a "classic" super-star driven team as many point to as a reason they can't advance and take the chip. That may be true, but they have 3 All-stars and the regular season was built on wins by committee.

The jazz are a "greater than the sum of their parts" type of team. They have many capable players with complimentary skillsets, but if they are missing one of conley/bogi/mitchell/gobert, their team becomes a bit underwhelming. Look what happened last year with bogi out. Any team missing one of their best scorers will be at a disadvantage, the jazz are no different.

Ball movement for Utah already looks waaaaay better. Also, good for Dillon Brooks earning those boos, that is when you know you had an impactful game.
