Towns is just pathetic..so dumb
That tech shouldn't have been rescinded, playoffs or not - that's a double tech
Morris later goes on to bump Towns (twice) intentionally to provoke a reaction and a 5h foul, and indirectly is successful cuz the very next offensive play towns just shoves back...so dumb

1) This game is being reffed ridiculously soft for a (quasi) playoff game

(Sorry Minny fans he seems like a nice guy and I hate to say it but when it gets physical he acts entitled and whines inatead of putting his head down and going harder)
You're not telling MN fans anything they don't already know. My biggest pet peeve with him is when he feels he's not getting a call on offense and never makes it past half court on defense because he's too busy whining.

not a fan of d'angelo but he has a history of stepping up his play in important minutes.

I don’t think Masai would. Pascal is literally perfect for what they are trying to do.

This is what happens when you don't play in the playoffs consistently in your career. You get shook by physical defense. KAT is looking like the 90's NBA stereotype of a soft Euro big.

Refs are horrible, I thought they were supposed to tighten up the whistle in the post-season?
Every single play is drawing a whistle, it's not even a chippy or particularly physical game

You're talking like most things aren't going their way already![]()
Even if Towns is soft as tissue paper, TWolves are getting killed by the refs.
Purely stats wise, Wolves 19 fouls, 19 FTA, Clippers 17 fouls, 22 FTA, Clippers aren't getting any enough of an advantage from fouls or FT's for them missing their FT's to be glossed over. It's a two point game, so they are lucky the Wolves are also missing FT's, yes.

You can't build a championship team around a limited defense center as a 3rd option. Vuc is a prime example.
Its possible if your top 2 are great enough not if theyre Defrozen and Zach tho

In the future, I'm hopeful the "rank" of options will be Ant/Towns/D-Lo, I think that's a good formula for the future. Maybe a nice draft pick steps up and takes that #2 spot from KAT, but with the team as it is now, this is how I see it.
Yeah it's clear Edwards is the clear #1 option on this team for the foreseeable future. I love his game, super athletic, explosive, and has a good stroke. With some more polish on when to attack and how to use his speed and explosiveness to get to the line and slash at will, he'll be a perennial all star for sure. IMO and this might be a hot take, I'd see what KAT can field on the market to see if you can get a more mobile defensive big, I mean KAT is mobile for his size but defensively I don't like what I see.
Nobody on the Wolves is untouchable (even Ant), so no, it wouldn't bother me if he ended being moved, but they definitely have to make sure they are getting equal value, this isn't franchise that can afford to lose value in a trade and just make it up later, free agents aren't flocking here and our draft history is spotty at best.

Maybe but we also only like players who are good defenders. Doubt Masai would pull the trigger for a player that’s this soft

Siakam literally does everything for the Raptors. He plays point, is their go to option and wins them games with his defense. He is also head and shoulders their best player. His defense easily makes him more valuable to the Raptors.
KAT is the better known name, but the Raptors wouldn't be a better team with KAT. There's something seriously lacking in the maturity level there.
In terms of fit, yeah you're right in the sense that the Raptors don't have a 5 and he's a better fit in the traditional sense.

Kat definitely has his issues.
With that said, Embiid would have 30 fts tonight. It's crazy how differently the 2 are officiated
