this is funny. Joker/Denver lost 6 straight to Boston.. while Joker won B2B MVPs.. Boston loses one game... Boston still owns the Nuggets.

Touché on this night they didn’t

Hopefully some of you guys start to realize how inflated these offensive stats are compared to precious eras.

But the 60s and 80s also had inflated offensive stats? Don't tell me you thought that it's happening now for the first time?

You obviously didn’t watch the Nuggets last couple of years. Jokic had Austin Rivers, Facundo Campazzo and Will Barton as starters at times and still beat the Blazers.

I’m talking about THIS season, why would I talk about past???
I know what Jokara did in the past, don’t worry and no need to be insecure brate.

Embiid is closing the top 5 for me
for the first time this season :)
missed few games early but closing the gap in wins and GP puts him back in the conversation imo

couple of good games too not his usual brand of unfocused 35/7 but playing the right way
his defense was great yestedray and his decision making was better

Jokic had a really bad game yesterday even if the stats look ok
Denver need a weakside help defender who can step out to contest 3's and be mobile enough to recover to contest at the rim

Jokic was on a back-to-back against a desperate fighting team who came out with more effort, missed alot of bunnies short (probably due to fatigue) but he was all over the place from the get-go

first bad game in a while

still 2nd on my board tho, after Luka :)

Jokic did it with the worst team in the past why wouldn’t he do it now. When he is actually playing better than he has the last two seasons. You said you like to see any front runner do what Luka does. I responded with you obviously haven’t watched Jokic play and I stand by my comment regardless if you think it is insecure (which it is not). Many basketball people think that Jokic is playing his best ball this season.

Luka will win it this year I think. LeBron was 24 when he won his first MVP, Luka will be 24 too.

Careful talk about Jokic like that and you'll have stans coming at you from all angles like a school of rabid piranhas.

Kind of like you with Embiid but you’re ten times worse

Why would Jokic fans have a problem with that? Isn't it saying Jokic will be unfairly taken away his MVP even though he is still the best?

Looks like there’s a clear three tiers currently:

Front runners:
Luka
Jokic

Rest of Top 5:
Giannis
Tatum
KD

Potential to enter the race:
Embiid
Mitchell
Ja

Zion and Booker (along with Curry and AD before them) have dropped out of it for me, as both will now have missed too many games to be in consideration.

What he was saying was that for Jokic to win another MVP he needs to get a chip. Not sure if he agrees with it, but this is the stance I've repeated on here. The media won't allow him to win another one unless he gets one.

He is not the best or the MVP though. Luka is in both cases.

Luka officially takes the lead.

We'll see if they keep winning.

Top 4 record in the west should get him the MVP.

And he won MVP.

Just like Luka should win this year if his play and record continues at this pace.

The bar raises for him yet again

When it was looking like he won't have the record, he needed the #1 seed

When he got #1 seed, you said he needed to be clear #1 seed implying a decent margin between #1 and #2

Now the media won't allow it no matter what happens this season

Meanwhile, during all of this, he's put up some great games and only improved statistically...

Your stance is no good.

There is no need for you ore me ore anyone else to deprive ourselves of a possible Threepeat MVP in our Lifetimes.

If the Voters feel like Jokic deserves it for his Regular Season Performance, he should get it.

No matter how many Titles he won. It's just a narrative that was created in the past, and we should get rid of it.

And if they really decide to award him again .. Both me and you should be very, very happy about it.
