I expect the Pistons to be more aggressive on KAT, I thought playing Harris on him was too easy. Just put Duren on him, have Harris shadow him and watch as KAT picks them apart.

As far as Ausar's comments on Brunson, yeah, he's gonna get cooked.

Yea toooo much talking for my liking, brother been in the league for 18 hours and talking as if he's prime Kawhi on the defensive end. Incoming 40 point game for Brunson tonight.

Gotta go out there and prove them wrong again, Jalen Brunson.

It’s an annual thing. My GOAT Jalen Brunson gonna do it again.

Pistons are stuck, they can't guard KAT. Harris is food, Duren is too undisciplined, and Stewart is hobbled. Mix in a little more PnP and break out the broom.

Epic choke in game 1 no Stew in game 2. This is likely a sweep. Duren might get 4 3s violations this game instead of 3.

Duren is dumb, he doesn't understand what's going on, he is really slow to process and he is always a couple of steps behind the play. He might get his things together in a few years, but right now he shouldn't be playing for any team trying to win.

When he is not scared he is awesome on offense tho, he have great hands and he cand jump really high and dunk. But defense is not his thing at all.

We have no chance without stewart. Duren is a complete liability defensively

Also Ausar was 100% right about Brunson and every single knicks fan knows it, he is an egregious foul baiter

This was the game I feared the Pistons could have and give the Knicks a loss. High 3 pt percentage, 11 off. rebounds leading to 21 points and winning the free throw battle. Knicks still won by double digits.

Pistons have a great future and some nice foundational pieces, looking forward to them being competitive in the next few years

No, the reason it was close is that NY focused on Cade and dared the role players to beat them. Which they (particularly Tobias and Beas) did… until everything fell apart.

Missed the end of game 1...little one was too cute...so catching up now, and the refs gave Duren a two 5 counts before he didn't fully step out of the paint and got called for the third 3 second violation. Like refs never call that that much, but they tried to cut him slack until he just f***ed up making even a pretense of not camping out in the paint.

Anyways excited for game two, can't wait to see how both teams react.

Watching Schroeder beg for Bickerstaff to review the call after he smacked Jalen right on the wrist was pretty funny...but nah, if you watch Jalen's drives, the refs miss more things in the defenses favor than in Brunson's; dude gets mauled, regularly.

But complaining about Brunson's FTs is all part of the cycle. Philly & Cleveland fans went through it too after they realized that they were going to get smacked by Brunson :D

Didn't you just describe the same thing? We dared your role players to beat us and they shot the lights out...for the 2nd time in 5 games against us...until they didn't.

I'm not saying he doesn't get fouled, or that he's not a legitimately great player, I'm just saying that he foul baits and sometimes plays to draw the foul instead of making the shot. And that's something that any fan of any team can see.

I'm a Knicks fan & I agree. That Irks me the most about his game. They don't teach young ballers this you have to score thru the contact, not initiate it & then flop like you've been shot

Still not sure I think that's a fair description of his game.

He plays for the And-1...as he often still makes the shot even after getting fouled, because he's an exceptional finisher & shooter...and when I hear "foul-baiter" I think Joel flopping around with no hope of making the shot, trying to get the two FTs; which isn't Brunson's game. Jalen doesn't always finish the play...especially since hurting his ankle...but I do think he's trying to finish the play 99% of the time.

There are some times when an overly aggressive defender getting away with some whacks annoys Brunson, after which he does just set the dude up for an obvious foul...but if you go back to the previous couple of drives before those, you'll usually notice a few fouls that got missed, that he's salty about. I get why that's annoying, and it is his least sportmanship-y quality, but that's such a small proportion of his drives.

I am obviously biased though, and in the heat of a playoff series, we're apt to genuinely just see things differently...especially given that you guys have been a physical team all year, while we've been much more of a finesse team that can get physical.

EDIT:
correction, Jalen's flopping defensively is his least sportmanship-y quality. That one does irk me, but that's mostly about my issues with the NBA's charging rules.

Yea toooo much talking for my liking, brother been in the league for 18 hours and talking as if he's prime Kawhi on the defensive end. Incoming 40 point game for Brunson tonight.

This happens every year. Our first round opponent doesn't take us seriously and starts yapping away. I wish our second round opponents would do the same.

Why would anybody take Knicks seriously

It’s a laughingstock team for more than a quarter of a century

We not talking here about , Lakers Spurs Warriors Celtics hell even about likes of Nuggets Mavs or Toronto

We talking about Nix , bottom feeder for generations
