For those here who aren't zoomers. How do you like what you're seeing out there offense wise?

Everything is perimeter orientated it's like nobody runs plays anymore.

Having grown up watching late 90's, early 2000's ball I feel short changed watching games like this.

Am I crazy? I'm open to criticism.

Sadly, post-ups are considered inefficient, but the truth is, bigs rarely have the time to take three dribbles and back a guy down less than 15 feet from the rim without an immediate trap/double team. The only bigger guys who can do that are guys who are also comfortable facing up and you'll notice they usually start at the 3 point line.

Le'ts just be honest about Minnesota. When you are paying that much for a center you have a ceiling. They are trying to get around that albatross contract.

Not really sure how Gobert gets the blame now as he helped the Timberwolves make the WCF for the 2nd year in a row.

The Thunder won 68 games with the best point differential of all time. They’re just a great team, and the Timberwolves would be in worse shape if they didn’t have Gobert.

He gets the blame because it's a terrible contract. I don't think they will win a title with him anyways so it's probably best to reset you roster construction but how can you trade him with that contract? They traded Towns when it was Gobert who really needed to go.

If it’s really such a terrible contract as you claim, then how could they trade it for anything of value?

The Rudy Gobert era is the most successful era of basketball in Minnesota Timberwolves history. They may not win a title, but it’s hard to make the WCF and they’ve done it 2 years in a row. I believe they’re the first team since the KD Warriors to make the WCF 2 years in a row:

Same reason Randle is on the bench, when they go inside there are so many swipes it's difficult to hold onto the ball.

I don't hate what I'm watching, I like when the passing gets creative.

Honestly I don’t think it matters what they do. They can player A less or player B more changes defense up. They’re just overmatched.

Yeah its killed the variation in play styles and offenses. So one dimentional.
